Great interview. Gotta commend the interviewer--I'd have a really tough time playing cool in a chat with Chris. Been a heavy consumer of his music for years.
Hey remember in San Francisco when they buried ''The Hippie''? That was fucking 1969 I believe. I cannot stand old hippies yammering on about the good old days. Yeah do you even WORK now? I wish he wouldn't go this route. My ex is still playin' and lovin' the blues Walter Trout!
I miss Black Crowes Chris too. I'm happy to have been along on the Black Crowes ride since 1990. They were and r always my favorite band. I love what Rich and Marc Ford have built with their new band The Magpie Salute and I'm happy Chris found a vibe he digs. It's clear his musical influence and style has changed greatly over the last decade, but it's all good. If you r more into that awesome rock The Black Crowes gave the world, check out Rich & Marc in The Magpie Salute. If you r cool with the way things are, right on. More music to love by all of the fans. Cheers to new fans too. Peace
For whatever reason he wants to be the ultimate stoner hippie 60's flower power grateful dead whatever. CRB blows ass. He is supremely wasting his talents.
He's never been cool. Even though he wants to be so badly. People love the Crowes music because it is so profoundly profound. His hippy trip has destroyed him.
Believe me I wasn't into folk until getting into The Mother Hips and I was not feeling the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, but then I heard Narcissus Soaking Wet on the radio and I've been a fan of them ever since. Some of his best work is with the CRB.
C-BookReviews I kind of lost track of the Robinson brothers. I have Chris’ first two solo CDs and then I just didnt follow anymore. I just checked out that song...dang....blew me away 👏
One of the best CR interviews I've ever seen. Interviewer is great, knows his stuff!
I wonder what 1990 Chris Robinson would think if he saw this interview. What a journey this guy's life has been to get from there to here.
Great interview. Gotta commend the interviewer--I'd have a really tough time playing cool in a chat with Chris. Been a heavy consumer of his music for years.
Never Ever It will be the same or good as The Black Crowes was , full stop
Interviewer is great too! He knows his stuff!
After reading Steve Gorman's book...this interview get's a whole new kind of dimension..Ya know?
Great interview... Makes a nice change to have an interviewer that actually has some connection to his work... Good job man 👍

Brett R That is an accurate statement.
At 3 minutes I heard the 200 hundredth "ya' know" and had to turn it off. His brain is fried
Leave then, no need to tell anyone because they don’t need ya.

Odds of Chris playing all these towns the day after these huge “events” ... Kinda fishy maybe it’s the order you belong to.
Take away the filter BS and just simplify your answers....
Chris has lost touch. He looks bad. And he’s too into the Dead. I miss Rock n’ Roll Blues Chris.
Well the dude's in his fifties. He has his hair and ain't fat - kudos for that!
Andy G True.

He still gets all the snizz. Plus he always looked like shit.
For whatever reason he wants to be the ultimate stoner hippie 60's flower power grateful dead whatever. CRB blows ass. He is supremely wasting his talents.

Yes lol, he has always poured on the cool rock star thing really hard it’s laughable. He is a good song writer though.
