    Thanks kingcrusher. Karpov doesn't have 'bad days' like this too often but he was outplayed here.

    even though i've never liked kasparov's personality
    (a little sexist and egotistical), i've always admired
    his chess. he never hesitates to sac pawns and exchanges
    for the initiative.

    Strongly akin to the well known Karpov-Kasparov 16-th game of the 1985 match...Full activity for black pieces while the white ones just watch.

    Hey KC, what interface do you use to go over these games? I notice it is the same in all your videos but can't seem to figure out which it is

    "kasparovs rating 1993?"
    2805

  • @Mattslayerable

    thats because his style is solid and he waits for opponents errors, where as kasparov or fisher play more agressively and try to force the win more which can lead to backfires much more, it proved more effective than karpovs style

    Karpov the best! Computer says he is a player who makes less mistakes than anyone else in the worls,incl.Kasparov and Fischer.

    Majority?O don't think so.Kasparov won against majority of early-stage chess engines,THAT may be so.But we can't claim that referring to modern over 3000+ chess engines.

    AT 3:54 TIME WHY CANT BLACK PLAY QH4 WINNING?

    • @TheSecretJoe
      @TheSecretJoe 9 лет назад

      If black ...Qh4+ : then white can respond with g3, forcing the queen to retreat or be captured since taking either pawn loses the queen without compensation. In fact, blacks Knight is in serious danger of hanging unless queen moves to h5. Then h3xNg4. White's pawns are doubled on G file but g5 is attacking the queen which must move again (probably capturing the pawn back)
      In the end Black has lost tempo and is down in material as well as leaving white with an "okay" pawn structure

  • @dgontar
    @dgontar 15 лет назад

    But I still think black's chances for winning are still quite good after 14.Qd2

    I think Kasparov can legitimately be a little on the egotistical side, being as he is probably the greatest chess player in history.

    KINGrusher i got a challenge to my friend. revisited these videos and modernize them and make the audio better. why dont you come back to this video and make a new video over the same subject matter. i feel as though some of the material that yuo have worked so hard to collect is wasting away. so why not make a new vifeo starting with this. and understand some of the ideas that you speaking of.
