hi Nawal, have you tried using power button of the emulator? emulator saves previous state, so that could be an issue... also you can try something called "wipe data" from android studio , hope this helps
@@deepdivedevs100 thank you for answering I used the power button and still the same also I tried "wipe data" and the emulator show always the black screen or it shows google logo !!!
@@nawalelm9638 sorry to hear it didn't help, may be the heap size (size on disk) of your virtual device is less than recommended, try increasing it..., adding another virtual device and removing current one is also a choice 👍
@@deepdivedevs100 thank you so much after i had fixed my size disk the emulator worked ans i created my app but during the developpement i have this error :unahandled promise rejection and it shows that the error source is at the node_modules/Logboxdata.js have you any idea please
Hi ~ VSCode/extension used does not have its own emulator. You need to install it from Android Studio. Check this link here on how to install an emulator in Andriod Studio Official Docs. Its pretty straight forward: developer.android.com/studio/run/emulator#install

@@QGRICH you need android studio just for installation. Once emulator is installed, you don't need to open android studio to use emulator. I am not sure if just the collection of these files is enough to run emulator. If you install it through AS, most probably it also installs the necessary tooling to run the emulator

Ctrl + , Opens Settings in VsCode
Ctrl + Shift + P Opens Command Palette in Vscode
windows/start + E Opens File Explorer
So what's the benefit of this? it only opens the emulator, how to build and run it afterwards?

Hi, your android emulator settings might have auto-rotate disabled. You can also try installing new device 😉
I want to install Android Studio on VS code , I dont want the emulator .. Does what you did in the video the same thing?
