"Photograph" is by far the most musically mature and harmonically sophisticated track on the Pyromania album. This song foreshadowed the late 80's "Hysteria" version of Def Leppard, while still retaining the raw energy and power of the early days of the band. This is the best damn song Def Leppard ever recorded. All Hail Producer Mutt Lange!

All I remember is He-Man and M.A.S.K., videotapes and cassettes and music like this, slumber parties at friends who lived on boats, falling in love with a girl and being too afraid to tell her. @@timothyhungate8123 Yeah me too. I do try really hard to not to be a typical old geezer moaning about "the good old days". But back then we still lived at a vaguely human pace, had more time and space to process and share in things. Now everything happens at warp speed, everyone's a cynic and we've all got our guard up. I do genuinely believe we had it better than kids today tbh.

The greatest background vocals ever recorded, imo…and that’s saying *a lot* man. Queen, absolutely top tier at every moment…The Cars, mind blowing backing vocals…but these are on a unique level, man. They have that “almost sounds like a synthesizer” quality that make you wonder how in the hell Mutt produced something so utterly perfect sounding.

Being four years in 89. The age of awareness and cognition had really taken hold of me. I'm really glad that I saw the last half of the 80s. Nothing like it. That era. Or the early 90s. When late 90s Pop music took over the cool of those time periods were truly lost for awhile. Don't know if we'll get it back. C'est la vie.

I entered 1980 at age 13 and left the 80s at age 23. I feasted on the rock, hard rock and hair metal bands of that era with Def Leppard among my all time favorites. Every generation has their music but I'm biased in believing my generation had the greatest music because of the 80s. Carpe Diem fellow rockers and metal up!
