Gardening is an artistic and philosophical pursuit - that is apart from a garden being a place where you can grow your own food, exercise, take the sun and be truly free. Time in a garden doesn't exist and the longer you spend in it the better. Good luck to you and your garden from Normandie, Sue

In Colorado we made a little hot house box over the garden beds... and we could start many seeds in May. They grow well because they stay warmer. Then just take the boxes off around mid June.

Thanks for sharing, Sir. We also eat cooked purslane and mallow, in Morocco, as a kind of pesto. Purslane is growing everywhere right now, even in my pots on the roof terrace. I also eat it fresh, in salads. It's like a fat and oddly crispy plant when eaten fresh.

Right now we have the Monsoon season here in India so no need to water the garden, in fact rain is the best water and this is the best season to grow food so I've got quite a few new seedlings growing.

Haven't watered my gardening once this year (God watered it a few times) and it's full of Lamb's Quarters, Dill, Thistle, Dandelion, etc. Plenty of edible and very healthy foods, healthier than most vegetables.
