I've subscribed in case you do more on that saw. I have that combo as well, but have individual motors for the saw and jointer. Both after market of course, but 240v don't bat an eye cutting through anything.

If ya can't find an old part but have the original you could also probably get a small machine shop to make one. I love the beefy build quality of that saw :) Makes my 1980's Rockwell 9" contractor saw look like a cheap imitation.

Skilled machinists are getting harder to find, but yes, that's a good option.

I have one like yours. I believe I am the second owner; the first owner was an aircraft repair station and flight training school that commenced operations in the early 1930s. Curtis Jennies were still in use as trainers. Mostly wood structure and student pilots. Early on I suspect it got a lot of use. But when I worked there about 30 years ago, the saw was in our wheel shop. The only person to use it as a saw/jointer was our facility maintenance man, mostly tu make wheel chocks for the line crew. We mechanics used it as a table to tear down, repaiir, and reassemble wheel assemblies. We had stepped into the jet age and wheel assemblies often weighed 40 to 60 pounds. So we broke one of the table mount quadrants. The company bought a new saw and I brought the Delta combo home.
This saw had no splitter; it was optional, I think. It sould be simple to fabricate. Do you happen to have a splitter for your saw? Rough dimensions would be really helpful.

Fascinating history! Sorry though, I haven't a splitter.
