I learned you can't look at his beard, or someone else's you like, and expect yours to turn out exactly like that - you might be disappointed. You have to be willing to embrace *your* beard, which may or may not grow like what you see on other people.
And also when you have a bad beard day don't cut it, think about the time it took to grow and wait, often the beard will be better after a couple of days. Great vids and awesome healthy beard you got there, keep up the good work!
Great advice bro. Closing in on 2 years of growth,I can say the biggest thing i've done to help me grow the beard i currently have right now, is no trimming it at all! Everyone's beard grows different though. Mine just happen to grow to where i didn't have hardly any split ends are alot of wild hairs out of place, so it was easy to maintain. I also patted my beard in, like you said, to make it look way shorter, without trimming it.

Been growing mine since August 2016. My beard was down to my mid chest in exactly a year. Trimmed in November 2017 cause my supervisor thought I should trim it, even though I didn’t have to, but I did. Big mistake. But I let it rock out all the way to now. I’ll never trim my beard again. Very true about growing your beard past where you want it and then trimming it to where you do. Very important. A lot of guys think (but may not know better) that shaping happens naturally. I contantly screw up my neckline personally because of this very reason.

Depending on how your beard grows, you could be cutting hairs that are meant to lay down over other hairs to give you the "full" beard look. Like the man said in the video, just grow your beard until you get to the length you want and then you can start shaping and trimming. If you cut/trim early, you're stunting growth of the beard!

Because the majority of the people on the planet is brown if you could grow a beard you where a part of the twelve. That grace thing is not all you need, you need to also follow the laws, statutes, and commandments of the TMH, it's in the instructions ie: old testament and new testament ie: new covenant.
Exactly my point sis, the sacrificial lamb was replaced by the true and living lamb everything else still applies, grace is applied for when we still transgress the law TMH doesn't deal with us swiftly as he did with our forefathers.

I started my beard October 15th 2018. Right now the time is February 18th 2020 and I'm just seeing growth underneath the neck where I can have a comb snag. Patches are starting to have small growth on the cheek area, but my side and jaw area looks good. My chin is very long and my mustache can be put all the way in my mouth. #TrustTheProcess

I really enjoy all the tips and info out here on the YT community and your channel is required watching. I appreciate your passion and knowledge and your spectacular beard is evident that you are a Maestro of Beardology...👌🏾 Here's my frustration. I am older than most of the fellas I see out here on YT and I haven't seen anyone address my crazy beard issue. I basically have a Civil War going on with my beard and I jokingly say my beard is racist. It is about 75% white/gray and the remaining 25% is black. The white hairs are pretty much long and straight...no problem. But the black hairs...Bro, they are super coarse and unruly. My moustache is black and my chin and cheeks are all white with a stray few black hairs sprinkled in. The majority of the black hair is below my chin and cheeklines and this is where I'm catching hell. I have tried different day, night, and maintenance routines using several different detanglers, shampoos, oils, balms and conditioners. I am seeing progress and growth but it is truly a struggle because of the alternating textures. Just doesn't seem to be no controlling them. Long story short...have you heard of this issue before and what advice or products do you recommend to creat a truce on my face. To paraphrase the great MLK, "I have a dream that one day the black and white hairs on my face will come together and live together in unity... " cause right now, I'm in the middle of a face riot...🙄
Thanks for watching the channel! Have you tried twisting the curly hairs at night!! It will straighten them out for you try to keep the grey hairs out of the twist because it will only make them straighter. I do the same thing with my chin my chin hairs are strait everything else is super curly!! I did a video showing g how I twist!

Bearded Existence and its crazy cause I actually have trimmed the hairs that poke out only to find out the next day or same day they return! Lol so i said screw it i groom it the best i can and keep my neck and cheeks clean. I think it will be a very long time before i see a barber and then i gotta choose wisely
Good video man! A lot of good tips. But what do you think about beards reaching a terminal length? I've been growing mine for about 4yrs and 4months and I've only trimmed it very little at about 2 and half years. But when I look back at pictures of it at 2yrs it really looks the same, it's stuck at about mid chest. I know I probably need to moisturize more cause I only use beard oil and balms at the moment and I really want to look into that emu oil you was talkin bout and maybe that might help some, but it seems i may have hit terminal length nearly 2yrs ago. How long you been growing again? And do you feel yours has slowed down?

Here's my frustration. I am older than most of the fellas I see out here on YT and I haven't seen anyone address my crazy beard issue. I basically have a Civil War going on with my beard and I jokingly say my beard is racist. It is about 75% white/gray and the remaining 25% is black. The white hairs are pretty much long and straight...no problem. But the black hairs...Bro, they are super coarse and unruly.
My moustache is black and my chin and cheeks are all white with a stray few black hairs sprinkled in. The majority of the black hair is below my chin and cheeklines and this is where I'm catching hell.
I have tried different day, night, and maintenance routines using several different detanglers, shampoos, oils, balms and conditioners. I am seeing progress and growth but it is truly a struggle because of the alternating textures. Just doesn't seem to be no controlling them.
Long story short...have you heard of this issue before and what advice or products do you recommend to creat a truce on my face.
To paraphrase the great MLK, "I have a dream that one day the black and white hairs on my face will come together and live together in unity... " cause right now, I'm in the middle of a face riot...🙄
Thanks for watching the channel! Have you tried twisting the curly hairs at night!! It will straighten them out for you try to keep the grey hairs out of the twist because it will only make them straighter. I do the same thing with my chin my chin hairs are strait everything else is super curly!! I did a video showing g how I twist!

Bearded Existence and its crazy cause I actually have trimmed the hairs that poke out only to find out the next day or same day they return! Lol so i said screw it i groom it the best i can and keep my neck and cheeks clean. I think it will be a very long time before i see a barber and then i gotta choose wisely

Good video man! A lot of good tips. But what do you think about beards reaching a terminal length? I've been growing mine for about 4yrs and 4months and I've only trimmed it very little at about 2 and half years. But when I look back at pictures of it at 2yrs it really looks the same, it's stuck at about mid chest. I know I probably need to moisturize more cause I only use beard oil and balms at the moment and I really want to look into that emu oil you was talkin bout and maybe that might help some, but it seems i may have hit terminal length nearly 2yrs ago. How long you been growing again? And do you feel yours has slowed down?
NotoriousNUGS I’m not sure how I feel about terminal length I think once you get there you need a serious bump I. Nutrition and care to get past that point!! I had this beard for over 2 years but I did a big cut 5 months ago if you go back into my videos and I took off prob 4-5 inches
Hey I really have a problem that I have been struggling with for a long time. Basically, my left side is weaker than the right side of my beards. It does not grow equally and it really frustrates me cuz I have to always trim, which I don’t want to. I really need advice on this pls. Thank you.
