ahh, love yall having another crossover collaboration with major! this movie is such a classic and honestly underrated in my opinion. the art style was so unique at a time where animated kids films were everywhere. the way they take the colorful and exciting world we know animated movies to have and ground it in reality is great, especially for a “kids’ film.” it also reminds me of that old disney jr cartoon “rollie pollie ollie” which i thing stopped airing shortly before this movie came out i absolutely recommend watching “meet the robinsons (2007)” which is from the same sort of universe (and obviously the same animation house lol). it has that same duality of fun, colorful possibilities with a ground of emotional reality. there’s a very specific hilarious quote in that movie i say quite a lot and i’m absolutely not the only one who has it stuck in their head as a forever memory lol
Meet the Robinsons is in my top 3 favorite Disney movies of all time 🤍🔥 So unfortunately we can’t do that if quote the entire thing lol and Bianca has seen it as well! I can see if Major has seen it though!
Me and my brother absolutely loved this movie so much- there was a bonus features thing on the DVD where you could make that little red robot (the dancing one Rodney sees when he first gets to the city) do different dances and we messed around with it so much our mum confiscated the DVD 😭😂
@@U-Gozoo I'm french and in the french version, when Rodney come into the kitchen, he says " Wow, she has a big heart " and Fender answers " Yes, and you'll see not only that " It's idiot because even if I saw the two versions of this movie, I prefer the french canadian one because the dialogues are better. Even if in the french one, Mrs Gasket is voiced by Roger Carel, the boss of the Disney french dub (he's the equivalent of Mel Blanc)
@@U-Gozoo I don't know if you can find it but yes, in France, some Disney have often two or three different dub where the lines are often different so some generations grew up with one dub in particular. For the french canadian version, it's different because we can tell the way of speaking french is often different than the way we talk in France. But what I noticed is the fact than the french canadian version is closest to the original one
WOW, I remember my mom buying this movie on Blu-Ray DVD back in the day lol. It was definitely a favorite film of mine that I always rewatched as a kid on the weekends. The animation was so clever and creative. I am also a 94' baby as well and I'd consider this a classic for our generation. Thanks for taking me back down memory lane. As always, another great reaction.
Did you notice in the scene where Rodney sees the robot who " pretends to be one " there's a robot looking like Sid of " Ice Âge " ? I remember thinking Tim was a puppet because of the way he moves and grabs the key of the door (and because we don't see his feet before he fells). It made me think of Guignol, the most famous french puppet (I'm french). And despite being french, I like better the french canadian version
13:02 alright I’m just gonna say it but when I first saw that lady I immediately thought of the women from the black version of the Wizard Of Oz 😂😂😂 the one kept saying “Don’t Bring Me No Bad News.”😂😂😂
8/10 Good Animated Film! I'll admit that I did not want to see this. I thought the trailers were utter crap. I mean I saw too many robot movies when this first came out. I thought I would only stick with I, Robot, but I was forced to see this. I was pleasantly surprised how good this was, so I bought the DVD. This is about a robot named Rodney Coperbottom. He decides to go to the city to show off this invention to the famous Mr. Bigwald. Unfortunately, Bigwald is out of business and in order to get to him, he must face some evil corporate execs. This film featured a magnificent voice cast noticeably Robin Williams. I could recognize his voice in about anything, even in Happy Feet. The animation is good, nothing special. This is a good film to have the kids watch. I rate this film 8/10.
Robots was a childhood classic of mine. Severly underrated movie. By the way, The Super Mario Bros. Movie recently was released on Digital! I hope you guys will react to it soon!
Let's Gooo
🙌
Honestly a childhood classic of mine even if a lot of people don't think its that great
I love how they made the chalk outline of the lamp post that apparently died from a robot fart.😅
I have nothing to say That’s funny
I think it was tape and not chalk

I can see if Major has seen it though!
Rodney is voiced by Ewan McGregor, he did Obi-wan in the prequels; Fender (The red robot) is Robin...
One of the most underrated animation films in my opinion.
I thought that when Robin Williams character lost his head it was more of Hocus Pocus thing when Billy lost his head.
Good point
Unfortunately blue sky studios is now gone. They were great!
I didn’t realise that 😢
Someone needs to bring them back we miss them

@@a.g.demada5263 that's interesting 🤔 I wouldn't mind checking out the version you are talking about, the movie inside out had a few versions too.
