Thanks for the interview with the admiral. Speaking of seaplanes, my father was on the aircrew of a PBM Mariner during WWII. It's a shame that there isn't a fully restored WWII era PBM in existence.
Great interview Dan. He has quite history in aviation. Keep up the excellent work. Safe skies my friend 🇺🇸🛩️
I was working on the flightline in Beeville Texas in 1965 and helped train Jewish pilots! Then I was working on the flightdeck of the USS America during the 'Six Day War'! I loved every second of my time in the Navy! Thank You for your service Admiral!
Good morning from Minnesota! Great episode! Thank you for your service sir!
Thumbs up 👍 great interview 😊
Dan it was a pleasure meeting you and speaking with you right after you did this interview with Admiral Gortney. (I see myself in the background there shopping for my FlyingEyes 😂 ) Yes I did buy some, with two different magnetic clip-ons: one polarized and one “G-15ish” grey. Loved this interview, love your channel.
Thanks Donnie!
Awesome guy! Seems really down to earth. Good luck, Admiral.
Dan is one of the best!
The super petrol is so freaking cool...muito legal!
👍✅ Learned a lot from this, tks Dan and admiral Bill!
I used to work with Spock. Marine Aviator FA-18s and AV-8Bs. Can you guess how he got his call sign?
Pointy ears, or raised one of his eyebrows high? ~8D
@@johnnyliminal8032 Haha not quite but close. He had the demeanor and look of a Vulcan without the ears. He didn't show emotion much but had a killer sense of humor. He retired as a full colonel.
He got a bit part in Top Gun Maverick.
@@JustaPilot1 Ah, cool. Thanks, and cheers. 👻😎😊
For $300,000 I’ll buy a used aerobatic airplane such as an Extra 300. That has a ‘beast’ of a motor.
