    I like how Ocelot is the first and last boss that Snake fights throughout his journey in the MGS series

      I mean actually Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake are canon and they each had like 4-5 bosses soooo in short Ocelot is just another face for Snake to fuck *adjusts glasses*

      @@scottjones845I think he meant just the Metal Gear Solid games 1,2, and 4 with Solid Snake, not all of them. Like what I mean is that Ocelot was the first boss of MGS1, and the last boss of MGS4, the last game with Solid Snake in it, though I guess technically you could argue it's actually Liquid taking over and fighting him instead.
      Didn't count 3 and 5 since they were Big Boss's story instead.

    This Boss Fight is honestly my favorite in the entire MGS Series, I always love how initially you're led to believe that Revolver Ocelot is just another Stereotypical Mad Villain to be blown away by Solid Snake only to discover that His involvement within the Franchise extends ALL the way back to the very beginning, also I like how the "It's been a long time since I had such a good fight" line is a perfect callback to Ocelot's fight with Naked Snake/Big Boss in MGS3

    The amount of detailed information you can get from codec is so amazing from this ancient game, you didn’t even need internet back then to get a lot of info

    The best thing about this battle is when you accidentally kill baker because of tripping the c4, ocelot goes "YOU IDIOT!"

    Change in dialogue with Campbell and Naomi in the Gamecube version:
    Naomi: And he has a well-known taste for torture--when he was with Spetsnaz, he served as a special torture advisor in the concentration camps.

    Simply Run and shoot, don't need to stay and dodge, also aim for the pipes, hitting them will release hot steam and he will be distracted

    Such very good detailed information you get from the codec calls. I still remember my oldest sister who played this game back in the day. She borrowed the game from our neighbors and let me tell you my sister had TROUBLE on this boss fight and needed help and as a matter she had trouble on every boss fight with the exception I think was raven.

      I always loved being able to get more background information on the Members of Foxhound during the Boss Fights as well, the MGS1 Boss Fights against Ocelot, Raven and the fist fight against Liquid Snake on top of Metal Gear Rex are my top 3 favorite in the MGS Series, the biggest pain for Me was trying to make it through Ocelot's Torture Sequence I remember ALWAYS having to get my Older Brother to help Me out with that part, it's a breeze on The Twin Snakes though Lol

    A revolver doesn't just automatically have a slower muzzle velocity

  • @LamborghiniDiabloSVPursuit
    @LamborghiniDiabloSVPursuit 2 года назад +1

    >The slower a gun's muzzle velocity, the more damage it does
    Yeah, that must be why .50 caliber rounds don't outright cause people's body parts to explode.

      “Physiks”
      Though to that point, both speed and mass play a part in the effectiveness of any projectile, which is why there’s a world of difference between say, .50AE, Beowulf, and BMG.

    • @Mr.Classic91
      @Mr.Classic91 Год назад

      Plus it doesn't take into account caliber. A revolver doesn't automatically have a lower muzzle velocity.

    • @barmbailey6934
      @barmbailey6934 День назад

      The ammo type also plays a part. If the bullets, Ocelot used were hollow-points which don't penetrate fully but expand on impact, they actually would cause more damage but only on the surface.
