While gaining traction on RUclips, she moved from Florida to Japan and largely supported herself AV modeling, one of many things trolls picked up on, and ultimately most notably she was one of very few people who 4 Chan declared war on without having done anything particularly terrible. Internet trolling was especially harsh back then, yet aside from short breaks she stuck around through it all until the mid-2010s, primarily on RUclips. Sometimes she was much more strictly focused on music, but her vlogs are probably what she was best known for, certainly anong people who liked her. I, probably along with most other folks who were watching RUclips in the early days, consider around '07-'08 to be a sort of golden era of vlogging, when we had all kinds of people getting in on it, but there were few restrictions and no particular expectations, so the creative possibilities were wide open. Emily was one of the freshest creators on here for a little bit imo. I hope someday we'll know what prompted her to leave, this time seemingly indefinitely.

At last, the issue you were talking about finally occurred and it appeared to be the final nail in the coffin. What I don't understand is how people can hold such a grudge towards someone they don't even know, has no affect on their life whatsoever, and for over 5+ years no less. The internet can be a terrible place. I'm not saying she's blameless, but she's 23 now ffs, yet people are still trying to find ways to hack her and send her death threats. It's childish and stupid in my opinion.
there was a shit storm cause people found out she was actually a pretty shitty person who lied and stole a bunch of her fan's money saying she needed it for university, but then when fans donated to her she spent the money on herself and never went to school and her ex friend told her entire story and ratted her shitty ways out, so she left youtube and deleted all her stuff...or at least blocked it.
***** first off she was getting the donations so she could "go to university" in japan because school is expensive. but shortly after the charity thing ended she stopped making videos for a long time and never ended up going to university. her visa ended and she got kicked out of japan. obviously if she never went to uni the money went somewhere.. which she never told or gave an explanation to her fans who donated money to her. as well as she was trying to get her fans to buy her "model DVD" which was basically just softcore porn and her posing in almost nothing and being sexual. look it up if you don't believe me.
***** if she wasn't able to get into college for one reason or another, the LEAST she could have done was offer ANY explanation to her fans who gave her their hard earned money trying to support her. it shows her type of personality. there are countless pages of things she's done. she's made several different account lying about who she was completely, purely lying to get attention. chat logs with her being vulgar and rude. she shows poor character. if you're willing to believe her, and her poor choices that show what kind of person she really is, over her own personal friend who saw her treating people like garbage and spending all that "college" money on shopping sprees, I don't know what to tell you. it's idiotic. you can lead someone to knowledge but you can't make them think.
Okay, but that gossip has no effect on anyone but her. She's not a saint, but really, it's her life. She's free to do what she wants with it and people are just wasting needless energy on a girl they'll probably never meet irl. It's immature and it places you on the same level as she was back then. In the end, it's all just cyberbullying and harassment. As you get older and leave the high school drama mentality behind, you'll learn to just live and let live. You'll make less enemies that way.
