How To Install NFS Most Wanted Mods 2023 (Mods Tutorial) | Remaster

- This video is quite long, but it covers all possible ways of installing different types mods. From addon mods installed using Ed the car dealer and VltEd, or installed using the Binary, to Modloader mods. And I also show you a quick way of installing rework + reshade 2.0 graphics mod. With all the steps shown in this video you will be able to install any mod you want.
A quick reminder you will need a clean copy of a Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005 v1.3 for the mods to install properly. Get the game on my discord server / discord

Do you know how to change the sound of the cars using mods? I'd having a hard time to fine tuning the car sounds from the Redux Mod for example the GTR's using 350z sound as well as the Supras
Hey man this is awesome. however i have a glitch where the ai racers vehicles are not fully loaded they look glitched out. i only have the neon light installed and custom gauges, not sure why its doing this

Hey I'm having an issue with my camera changing positions at the beginning of a race and not allowing me to change back until a minute into the race. Have anyone had this issue? Also my controller layout is a little weird in the menus and don't see where to change that at in the scripts. Other than that the game looks great.
Ya know, i had the steamunlocked version for so long to, didnt know if i could mod it since everytime i tried to install a widescreen fix or the mod that makes it more HD looking it wouldnt start, thought i finally found the fixes today with the no cd patches but nooope xD maybe this will work

Hey man, I need help please. 1. this mods folder i create beforehand, does it matter where I put in on my pc? Just not in games folder? When I extract the programs to the mods folder, they aren't in their own folders within mods like yours, do I need to create folders within mods, name it the right thing, then extract each program to its proper folder within mods? Thank you for this tutorial, I used it a few days ago, along with ReduxV3 which I found in another of your videos, and so far everything has gone very well. However I made the mistake today of installing 2 cars and remembered that in order to load them I would have to patch my save. The Save Patcher itself doesn't show my save but through trying the editor I think it's because the save is supposed to be under My Documents, but it isn't it's in the main game directory. I can't figure out a way to alter where the Patcher is looking or where my game is putting the save file. I tested if the cars were installed by starting another profile and they have so Ive narrowed it down to most likely the save location. Any advice would be really appreciated
Hey! Thank you very much for this tutorial and links! but I do need help with something... I'm using Rework + reshade only, and playing from the version that came with the rework file. For some reason, some races are not counting progress, it happened for the first time in the second race vs Sonny, in which the laps wouldn't count and I couldn't finish the race. Then I deleted the save file + settings file from documents, started a new career and now the bug happens on the third race from the tutorial. Have u heard of this bug before or can u point me something to do?
Hmm that's weird I don't have such a bug. Maybe try this: download this new Extra options github.com/ExOptsTeam/NFSMWExOpts/releases and copy scripts folder and dinput8.dll file to your games directory
@@fueledwithboost Got the new extra options but didn't fix it. But I figured what's happening (kinda), it seems that this version has different tracks/races than the original game (at least mine has), the second race vs Sonny is wildly different, it has a stadium part in it, it's when the bug happens: the minimap shows the parking lot of the stadium as the path, but the game doesn't block the FIELD and if I go through it instead of through the parking lot, it bugs the progress of the race.
So my question is, does this version actually comes with different tracks/races or is it a bug in mine? if it does come, can I put the originals in? I tried copying the TRACKS folder from the clean copy you provided, but it didn't help, I think there's probably more files that I need other than the TRACKS folder.
@@atomicsnatch2537 In rework zip file you downloaded there is Optional folder and inside there is a Classic Tracks folder so copy the contents of that folder to your games folder

Check in extra options .ini file maybe there is an option to change that

Cool tutorial mann although the process of installing mods is quite annoying and long, once you get the hang of it it's not as hard as it seems, I have some knowledge in coding and stuff, might try to code a program that does all of this without pressing a billion buttons LOL

(Issue with the save patch) When I try to patch some cars, it shows as temp350 and says that I need to beat blacklist member #1 razor, even though I have on my profile. I followed everything you did and while it worked with most cars, its not working with these cars.
i dont have the end files in my car folder addon, should i just skip that step and continue like the tutorial suggests, or do i do something else?

are Ed add-ons compatible with Binary mods? I installed some Binary mods first, then Ed, but after that the Binary ones had the Carrera GT model instead of the actual car
As long as you have unlimiter installed they should be compatible and work together

Well there is a problem, Reshade 5.5.1 Download is not working. I get "Service Unavailable" when I try to install it.

i am having an error...in that VLted part.. when i choose my game's directory, the VLted says "the folder you selected does not contain the supported version of the Need For Speed game. reason is Unbale to detect game version" can anyone help??
almost every visual mod replaces the d8input dll file, and idk if installing more than one mod might give some errors because of that file conflict, is there some solution to that? Or can I use them without problems?
When i downloaded the mods and went to installing save patcher and detected it as anti virus, i decided otherwise and went back to playing vanilla instead.. however it started crashing randomly whenever im playing.... Worst is it doesnt launch anymore and keeps on exiting. I have to restart my whole pc first before it can launch again.

I cant install the VLTed Software, since it doesnt show as a ZIP file, so I cant extract the folder, neither can I start up the folder. Same goes for Ed car dealer. Pls help.

Hey buddy! Hope you are good. I added 7 cars via binary, then I added just one car via ED car dealer and now the game won't open. And I did everything correctly as you showed, step by step, and there were no errors. Are there any possibilities why this could happen? Could it be that the cars installed via binaries are not compatible with Ed car dealer? And in this case, how can I return the installed file back?

Sigue las instrucciones al instalar binary con el .exe porque puede que estes instalando algo que esta dañado, para que el juego no te permita incluso con administrador cargar modscripts correctamente en NFS-VltEd.

Legitimate question hoping for a quick response, i installed a z tune skyline using binary/vlted as usual and it loads but tires are missing. Now when i want add a second car via same method/following instructions. The car i add afterwards still loads as a z tune skyline with no tires. For example if i install a A90 Supra, when i load the game and check it out it appears as a z tune skyline. Any and all help is appreciated.

quick question, I downloaded like a bunch of car mods so now that my list is close to 130, do I have to go through every single one of them with save patcher?
As long as you did .ini files with the right hasher values for every car you added then you can run save patcher just once and it should patch your profile totally fine
what I meant was like, do I have to go through each individual one with the hasher and turn them into an ini?

I can’t load the binary. I get the error for FRONTEND\FRONTB.LZC saying a specified module could not be found, and if the file is moved from the directory it cannot load binary as it wants that file 😢

When i try to install the .end mods and then try to find games location there are pop up messages saying Need for speed MW/Languages/danish.bin could not be found. You have to run ViltEd in Admin Mode! :)
