Selling big items online is tough because your gonna have to be charging for shipping while your competitors have free 2 day shipping and cheaper prices. Its tough. Your better off selling local for cash to avoid the taxes and fees.

Ive been buying pallets for a few years now. Depending on who you buy from, you will either pay the least for items that are not guaranteed to work, be in good/new condition etc, or pay the most for refurbished or new/unopened product. Everything gets sorted out by the distributors that collect from the retailers, and priced accordingly. So this load he bought can either be a gold mine, a loss, or somewhere in between. 90% of the time its somewhere in between.

It just all depends where you buy them from. Many people that sell individually attempts to get the most money which takes them forever to sell. We don’t , we do quick flips meaning if I purchased a $600 pallet, I’ll try to quick flip for double or more. And sells very fast, keeps product moving and customers happy because retail may be $180 and we sell it for $40-$60. We make money and they make money, it’s a win/win for all of us. And "new" or "infrequent" sellers will have their funds held(especially if over $250)for a minimum of 14 days after ebay confirms the package arrived and the buyer has no complaint. They reserve the right to hold funds even longer as the sales amount increases. But, the good news is ebay professes that they do NOT make interest off of your held funds...gotta have something positive, I guess...lol

      1. Buy the return pallet. 2 Sell the items on Facebook and eBay for a profit. We usually can count on half of retail value so this particular pallet would prob sell for $2500-$3k. Minus $450 for cost of goods and that’s a pretty good profit! 🤑

If there were that many identical items on a pallet then it means it was a defective run or priced way beyond what it was worth to somebody for the quality of the items, hence the return. So take off 75-95% of the retail price, so after fees and taxes (yes, the IRS is going to find out if sold on ebay) then you will be lucky to make a profit. Let us know how it goes after a year.
