Whether China violated the law or not is pointless, since they've been violating PH maritime laws, international laws and ITCLOS rulings for years and the PH has not been able to make them pay nor make them accountable. Thousands of their maritime militia regularly violates PH waters. Their research ships and warships regularly violates PH territorial waters. Just recently, 4 Chinese warships passed by near the country's shores without getting challenged by the PH. Even POGOs regularly violate PH laws, and the country cannot kick them out...

All the PH got is getting water cannoned by China, and the PH is completely helpless against China! The PH is completely helpless to fight back. Does anyone really think the PH have what it takes to punish China? or even the guts?
So what do you propose, declare war on them? If I may quote President Duterte, "my Marines will be wiped out". We are a small country, with no creditable armed forces; our past governments/politicians has seen to that. Kabayan' our only options are diplomatically and public relations warfare, preferably at the UN level.
