Lyrics.
Once upon a time in a land so fair
Lived Snow White with coal black hair
Her lips as red as a blooming rose,
And her skin as white as the winter snows.
Snow White’s stepmother was a Queen,
Her heart was cold and her ways were mean.
She longed to be the fairest of all,
So she hung a magic mirror on the wall.
Every day the stepmother called with glee,
“Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest? Tell me, please.”
“You are,” the mirror would always say,
Until one day, “Snow White is the fairest,” it did relay.
The mean queen told the huntsman, “Take Snow White away,
Deep into the woods, where she cannot stay.
Bring back her heart,” the Queen did hiss,
But the huntsman couldn’t do it and said, “Snow White, run away from this!”
Snow White, you must run away,
Into the woods so deep.
Find a place to hide and stay,
A secret you can keep.
Snow White found a cottage deep in the wood,
Where seven dwarves at the doorway stood.
Dozy, Grouchy, Merry, and Prof,
Silly, Blushful, and Sniffy with a cough.
The queen discovered the huntsman’s lie,
She knew Snow White was still nearby.
She cast a spell, and in the light,
Became an old hag with a poisoned bite.
Snow White and the dwarves in hiding stay,
But the wicked Queen is on her way.
A poisoned apple she leaves with haste,
On Snow White’s bedside, for her to taste.
After a bite from the apple, Snow White fell asleep,
The dwarves built a bed, her safety to keep.
She slept and slept as years went by,
Until a prince arrived with a handsome smile.
He saw Snow White in her peaceful bed,
And gently kissed her lips so red.
She awoke, and with the prince, laughter filled the air,
He took her to his kingdom, where they lived without a care.
