They need to bring back those Ellington 3s not even exactly but same shoe design made with the newer materials they use. Even today i still want a pair of Reynolds 1s.
it is surprising, I struggle to find new shoes now because I still like a bigger shoe, not to the extent of the Kingpin, but I still like a overly supportive shoe with a side made of something thinker and durable that is going to last a bit longer, but he's right, shoes now are verging on all being no different to your standard sneaker, thin, not very durable (i've just torn the sole off a new pair of ES in under 3 months). You have to start questioning, why buy these over another cheap pair of cons or similar.
+Andy Parker Word. I'm feeling the same. Especially finding a leather cupsoles nowadays is almost impossible. I would still take the "bulky" cupsole any day over the thin, semi-ugly vulcanized shoe that doesn't last at all with no support, protection and durability.
