As a F2P player, I do think we have a valid complaint with the new hero’s way. Playing daily the old way, I could finish the path by the end, with room enough to earn some extra hero’s way coins. I could track my progress transparently, fit the quests into my overall plan, and have fun. This new approach relegates hero’s way into the background; it’s no longer fun, and no longer something to be built into the game- it’s just an afterthought now, for F2P. The game designers have every right to make a buck, but for F2P players to be pressured on something that used to be free, or else ignored, is a bit insulting. This is not a situation of receiving soup instead of a sandwich, its a situation where we received a good sandwich day after day, and suddenly given crackers instead, along with a sales pitch on a timeshare. Yes, it’s still free, but it’s not fun and certainly doesn’t make a person feel good, and it very definitely is a clear decline in quality meant to decrease the resources people were earning in order to increase monetization. Yay capitalism, but no one should be surprised that those being shaken down are unhappy.

i found 3 Grand prizes in golden vases USING 26 tools..Midas Scroll upgraded to JUST 3 VASES. (ofc i refreshed as soon as i found one). Two times x 50 Red artfcat chests and 15 Lara dollls.
Opening the 15 dolls i got 76 LC souls total. Tomorrow i ll collect the 130 souls from Golden ticket. I think there is some kind of glitch. The fewer the golden vases the higher the chance they hide a grand prize . I opened just 9 or 10 golden vases total, (refreshed 3 or 4 times).
FB/Web... My question is will future opportunities to get Lara Croft soul stones be "cash only", or will she end up in one of the more expensive shops? I'm using the event shop to level skins for other heroes, then collecting more skin stones from the shop.
As soon as you get a grand prize - refresh vases. I managed to get a grand prize sometimes 2 with my 5 gold vases. Messed up with my first lot of openings and wasted a bunch of picks.
This event was not explained correctly at all. It was/is the biggest cash grab in the history of this game. Let me explain this. They divided the event in half. First they added the Temple Guardians option and everyone jumped on it, wasting adventure energy in the blink of an eye just to get buffs. People started buying this energy in hundreds. Part 2 has started, the most important part, because it's the only one where you can collect Lara's soul stones, and it turned out that you no longer have adventure energy. The conclusion is that all energies should be saved from part 1 to part 2, and only after maxing Lara's soul stones should Temple Guardians be made. We have all been fooled and the vast majority of players will neither complete Lara to the max nor complete Temple Guardians level 300. (Web player)

I do not want to know how much it will cost to have 300 buffs to take the level 300 guardian. Nor do i care to know how much more just to get there. Nor do i care to find out how many battles you have to start and lose then start again, each lasting like 5 mins just to "win"

From my experience cracking the Lara dolls, the soulstone drop rate is significantly higher then other hero dolls. When I collected 30 dolls (Two x5 grand prizes) I got a total of 90 soulstones out of them. I got 70 soulstones out of a separate 15, so I got over half way to the 300 I need with just 45 dolls.
wow i got 102 soulstone in the first day. did you do all the energy quests yet?
only got dolls from golden vase ONCE. Never showed in golden vase again
Ran 2 lots of dolls , 55 and 95 , made 312 Souls ... The bigger the starting number of Dolls the better really but i made 113 and 200 so maybe 50x Dolls is a good minimum (Dolls drop 1, 3 or 5 Souls at random if souls given as doll prize)
I made Scroll to level-9 so 9x Gold Vases and made a few Gold Vase Dolls
5 star lara craft is possible for free to play. I did it today with the 30 free vases they gave out this morning.

I'm still part way through but it hasn't come up so far, the in event battles get you more pick axes while collecting materials to upgrade the scroll. Of course F2P players who built up those materials week 1 have lost out on some.
There is also balancing how much you want to use the materials trying to get Lara soul stones vs trying to beat the temple guardians. I have no idea how many materials are needed for both to get the math right for F2P.
This was an event in which they expected people to spend a lot of money. Lara Croft as a hero appears to be useless.
I agree, spends lots and lots of money, no fun to be had but shut up and spend cause this is not for entertainment this is purely for their profit.
one of our guildmates spent about 1000$ to reach absoloute stars for lara croft it is an event for spending players
yep its very blatant in this event. when you need justice buff at lvl150 you know its going to be a bad event. Which makes me frustrated because the last event root of evil was actually pretty good and the first event where i beat lvl300, obivously i had to use the last of my justice buff but it was a nice and possible event. this current event is just pure rng frustration, impossible without buffs so free to plays have no chance of getting to lvl300
@@Megaladon18 I spent a total of $175 and got 6 star lara croft, the boss prizes up to and including the absolute summoning sphere, 150k skin stones, and 2300 red artifact materials, and that's not counting what I bought in the lara croft shop.
It was... a pretty lucrative event. Anyone who spent 1k is grossly irresponsible with their materials. But I still agree with everyone that it sucks how bad Lara Croft is.
I've heard Lara is better than Jhu against Osh, but I haven't seen screen shots to support those claims.

I've only been playing a month or so spent a little money and none of my heroes are at red level. If it takes a few months to a year to get a Laura to 6 stars so be it. I don't think it is worth pouring that much money to get that far. Charlie doesn't want to see another IP event like this but if it makes a lot of money we'll see another soon.

This event is so bad that i wish i would have missed it. Starting with the boring missions that are no challenge at all, Boss fights that take forever and have to be fought with win chances below 1% if you want to save some buffs as free to play player to at least get to lvl 250 or something close. Crazy expensive to gather Lara Soulstones and even the whales get completely milked because if you spend your energy to early in the event you dont get any tools at all even if you already have spend thousands of dollars. So you need to buy even more 200$ packages to get Lara to 6 star and an artifact to level 14!!!(first time in hero wars?) before...so stupid.
As a free to play player that is familiar with waiting and hording stuff before investing once the best tactic/event is up you can at least buy some good stuff in the shop and either go for some minor boss rewards or for some veils and get a shitty hero for free but over all it just sucks and is boring as hell.
ugh make us spend thousands trying to get random soul stones for that last 300 ... then they offer 6 star and skin upgrades after the event 1 day offer for $80 .... If I knew that I would have skipped the golden pass and EVERYthing else

As a reward I got 20 skill points. I have almost 800 saved up. Like why what type of award is that
