i think its a introvert realising how far and isolated they've become and the abyss they were sinking it like hes inside a telescope watching everyone else hence why at the end when Robbie wakes up looking for a way out and at the end he brakes his bubble i guess like he's trying to change. i got the same feeling from ghost boys even him looking at himself and realising how happy he was before introversion this causes his to wake up.

Is it just me or does it sound like he's singing about depersonalisation? Its where you feel disconeccted from the rest of the world and everything feels different or like you're not really there in the moment, kind of like you're viewing it from an outsiders perspective or you feel like you're dreaming. It sounds like he wants to be able to fully experience the moment rather than being spaced out all the time and he wants to know "what its like outside". It could be different but that's how I view it

Honestly this is such an amazing song and it’s hard to pick a favourite Cavetown song because they’re all so good. I even showed it to my sister and she’s really picky when in comes to music, and she liked it. So its safe to say my plan to convert her into a Cavetown fan is in progress.
