Marty Marrinan singing Around the Chapel Gate in Cooraclare recorded in 1994

This was recorded at a concert called "The Blast from the Past" at the West County Hotel, Ennis in October 1994.
Marty Marrinan was one of Clare’s finest traditional singer. He captured the audience with his jovial attitude and wonderful personality. I remember so well how the crowd would be overjoyed to see him entering Marrinan’s pub in Miltown Malbay during Willie Clancy week.
There will be some sessions in Heaven above when Arthur, Kathleen and Marty meet.
