Might be a bit old now and may not apply to this model but FYI based on some research, I have a LG LHB336 which was shutting down after a few seconds of being turned on, just said "good bye" , some videos on RUclips suggested there was a short in the amplifier board output ic's, however in my case for the brief period it was on the sound on all outputs were clear, speakers tested fine no shorts and all voltages on mainboard, amp board and power supply board were to spec based on my service manual. What I did notice on my model was the dvd tray would not eject but a flashing red dot on the display for every command indicated a command was being received. I discovered if I kept tapping the eject button for eg. 30 seconds, the system would no longer shutdown/good bye, as if it was now tricked or confused and not the behavior of a fault protection circuit. Well turns out the tray eject motor functions are part of the main control chip and that would explain the 'confused behavior' A lot of these unknown issues were found in many LG models and pioneer models which share the same circuit boards made by LG. The main control chip Broadcom BCM7633 is a bga chip (I can't say if all affected models shared the same chip) however it turns out due to a design flaw, the chip was fitted with a ridiculously small/thin black heat sink, to small to keep the chip cool enough in conjunction with a heat pad instead of thermal paste, thermal stresses during the heat cool cycles and for all we know poor soldering process causes the tiny solder beads connecting chip to board, to break over time creating a cold joint if you will. My best guest the type of error once you have ruled out a shortage or voltages fault, comes down to firmware and/or which solder beads have the cold joint which may determine the failure. Solution it to reflow this chip. If this solution works for your fault then the next step is to immediately upgrade to a better heatsink with cooling fan and good thermal paste. I fear heatsink alone will eventually get too warm and recreate the cold joints. Shame on those greedy manufacturers for just discontinuing the models and no information of the fix for the many owners. I have the ht503 model. And it does the same shit. I turn it on it spins the fan 3 times then says "good bye" First I thought "dead psu" but after tricking the 32V one to start(for the amp board) it was fine then I thought "amp board is dead" and gave up for 6 months on it to find a replacement. Now I built it again(it was sitting in my room torn apart) and changed the class D amp's thermal paste with MX-4 and what do you know it works!...for like 10 minutes but I discovered that the amp is fine...not the dvd how ever. The thing could barely edject and the motor for cd barely spun. Later while in aux i was listening to music and tried the edject button and it worked and after 5 minutes the sound cuts off and the dvd spins the motor still staying on aux and guess what? "Good bye" I do not have the chip you are specifying but I think its the cd motor driver chip "IP9010L" it has a resistor for current detection Which was shorted from the previous repair shop. So my only guess is that this is the problem a shit out of luck chip for driving 3 motors and a whole 6 channel amp poof gone not being able to be used. What a shame! Gud pm boss ask ko lang same ky problem nong LG home theater ko..bigla din nawala power supply nya..ginamit ko s music using USB..then mga 3 hrs ako nag music un nga nawala power supply promo pinalitan ko ng fuse un tumunog nman but after 1 hr nawala ulit power supply .ano ky main reason non..?
The same model din boss ung akin. Pero ung main board sa part ng mga saksakan ng mga speakers may pumutok sa part ng 1000uf50v at inductor (right part). at natuklap po ung board upper at lower. D ko makita ung nasunog na mga resistor din po. Please po kailangan ko ung picture ng main board at ung mga details nya po. Sana mapansin itong comment ko po❤️
