Wow, my old stomping ground looks so different now I hardly recognize it. I took pictures of the same route when most of those condos were just starting construction or still vacant lots.

Gentrification at its finest. It all began in the late 90s. Before that, it used to be ordinary folks community. Now only wealthy foreigners can afford to live in those super high-rises. @ 22:06 The park on the left was donated to the city for the people never to be developed. Nevertheless, the city sold half of it to the high-rise next door for expansion. So much for leaving land to the city.
