    ROTFLMAO Jenny that mischievous laugh just gets me. You are like a kid in the candy store, just love how excited you get. We get so excited, too. I just love every time we get a tour of the nursery and you share all the different plants. It helps us so much to figure out what to buy and what's going to work for us! I just love you guys. You are so inspirational for all of us! The Signature Garden design is amazing with or without the grass! That basket weave cut on the lawn looks so dang gorgeous. Tell Jerry thank you for the beautiful drone footage. That last part with the sun setting was beautiful.

    I live in Oregon and hadn’t heard of Army worms. We do deal with Crane Fly which will lay their eggs in the grasss. When the larvae hatch, they, too, can decimate a lawn.

    I am so Jelly of Jenny. When she feels like shopping, all she has to do is walk over and get some plants. Also very envy that with all the weird things that happened this year, your composure, patience and great attitude when dealing with these things is a great site to see. Even though I am in upstate we have had our far share of weird weather and things happened on our property that I have been overwhelmed and still trying to maintain and add to my garden. Coming from Cali to NYS i am not used to the short growing season and feel like I have to get everything done before winter. Keep up the good work

    I'm in the big bend area of Florida. I've had sod webworms several times over the years, but never army worms. They always do some damage, but they've never taken out my whole yard. I know the signs well and start spraying my grass if I see any small grayish moths. (Sod webworms are not the same as army worms)

    We learned about Army worms a few years ago. The lawn companies fleeced us newbies to the area. Happily armed withe the knowledge now that I can handle the attack myself and that our lawn grew back without even needing to reseed.

  • @maureenmckenna5220

    When this happened to a neighbor, on a brand new lawn, we were led to believe that the moth is blown in the wind, and migrates wherever the wind blows it. This neighbor is about 100 yards away and we got nothing. The lawn company said that here in Williamsburg, VA, it wasn’t usual. Never saw it before, or since. But, they had to install a whole new lawn, and it happened over a weekend. Devastating to see, really.

    • @GardeningwithCreekside
      @GardeningwithCreekside  2 месяца назад

      They attack new grass plantings real hard, established grasses hide the damage really well but we caught it in time.

  • @elizabethmitchell0071
    @elizabethmitchell0071 2 месяца назад

    Same here. We caught the issue before they wiped our entire lawn out. 3 areas look iffy. But we got it sprayed(3 xs) and heavily threw down tobacco fertilizer to kick that bermuda growth in to cover those areas. My neighbor looks the worst. They were gone for 10 days ( why we had to repeat spray). Idk what theyre going to do about their lawn. Smh
