Byron Bay's Clarkes Beach Scuba Dive

Awesome shallow scuba dive or snorkel very close to the town centre in Byron Bay...
Often a surf zone this area is rocky and a difficult place to enter the water but when the tides are right and the swell is low you can easily negotiate the entry zone and fill in an hour under water discovering stacks of fish, turtles, crayfish and stacks more.
Water in July is about 21 degrees and the visibility here is about 6 metres but can be much clearer further offshore where you might get 5 metres depth on a high incoming tide.
