      My trilogy would rather be e30 - e34 - e32 😊
I really wonder if it is a question of taste or a question of (our) generation. I was born in 1966. What is your generation ??? 😊 KR

I had a 740il and 750il and God I miss them. Hands down, the 750il required far less maintenance than my 740il did. The M73 V12 is such a solid engine. It never failed to amaze me. Great video and detailed overview, well done!

One additional comment- in my 740il, I had both the pixel information display in the dash and the radio pixel display in the center lose pixels and couldn’t display information properly. BMW realized this was a problem and had a courtesy goodwill repair program at no cost to the owner. The owner just needed to ask for this goodwill repair. I don’t know how BMW is today, but back then BMW Customer Service was top of the line.

This can be easily fixed. Shipped my cluster to a guy in the US and got it back like new.

One thing that may happen on the M73 is the head bolts snapping. You will chase a coolant leak message and will see no leaks anywhere. Then you think you have a crack somewhere until you find a head bolt snapped... Being there and saw it many times. The block on these are damn solid but if you ever have a coolant hose go and the engine runs warmer for a bit, almost certain a head bolt will go.

In the lower-end 730d is by far the best pick. Plenty of torque at low revs, high mpg,and a fantastically reiable enngine (the M57). The 728i also owns a silky and extremely resistant engine, but has to be revved above 4000 U/min in order to deliver - and mpg is siignificantly lower

These are hands down one of the best cars BMW has produced. My 4.0m60 still runs great, no its not perfect, but show me a car from 1994 what is immaculate after 30 years and almost 400k kms on the clock...

I have a 1995 120000 , have you ever had timing chain issues, they're double row chains, and chain cock instead of plastic .
Just curious , love the car it's the best

@@stuartrose9456 nope, the chain is still without any problems, and completely silent. I bet the M62 owners are all pretty jealous 😀

Also they run the v12 autos , stronger box. I'd have the m60 anyday, don't have vanos issues either..mines a Japanese import , and has all the v12 extras , premium sound full blind package folding mirrors , sedc, heated seats TV has been converted to digital. , love the beast cheers
