Sadly it’s all dead nowadays cattle market closed in 2001, Barnstaple market is best part dead these days butchers row is still active. I blame two factors here one is super markets and the other is costly parking, I look to blame costly parking now one pays to go shopping when you can park at super market for free and not have the extra time stress of my tickets going to run out and theres a huge que at till. This is what’s killed the high street greedy council parking prices and there greedy over priced parking tickets
