After taking the communist seats they had the majority but no 2/3 majority. They had to force the other parties members to vote for the "Ermächtigungsgesetz"

Yeah I should make that clear, I meant that once they took the votes of the communist party they had a majority.

Both could object it and cancel it. No?
By the time the Nazis were trying to pass the enabling act they had pretty much removed all opposition. I do talk about this in the video.
