Hi Matt, we did base this machine off the RT-30. 25 horsepower is a great place this loader to be at as it meets Tier 4 requirements without an aftertreament system, so you have minimal maintenance. As we said to another commenter as well, there are also a ton of things we enhanced on the RT-25 compared some of our older models, including a larger 365cc motor with about 10% more tractive effort, meaning better pushing power. There is a great torque curve on the machine. We’ve also increased the oil change interval to 500 hrs and improved reliability in numerous areas, including adding a Rexroth drive pump, which has been an extremely good pump across all of our models.
How do you load a truck with this little machine?
You lift the bucket with the right joystick and then dump it with the same joystick. Super easy.

what's the difference between the rt25 and rt30?
Great question! The RT-25 if a turbocharged engine, meaning awesome performance at all elevations. @@cjfplanthire9377 It certainly offers many upgrades. The RT-30 is also no longer available in the US, so if you are located there, we'd definitely recommend the RT-25 or even the RT-40.
