Hello Carla, I had a smile on my face when you said that it was warm and you were going to open your window, because here in Australia, that is the last thing we would do, we keep the windows closed and the curtains closed, to keep the heat out. Then open up when the cool change comes. This vlog had a bit of everything, Housework, gardening, shopping, eating, and sitting on your plumbing !! You are giving the rest of us a bad name !! If you put some white vinegar in the water that you are boiling eggs in , they are easier to peel !!

That was a great day’s vlog and you got nice clothes. I’m off to Saltcoats today because it’s a gorgeous day. Highest temperature is meant to be 20 degrees here in the west of Scotland. Yay for cooler weather. 👍🏽

We got the opposite here, Perth OZ has turned cold for winter and the houses are not built for it, so although I've got a oil fin heater right next to me I can feel the cold draught coming through the closed windows.. I think the world has fallen off it axle lol...

Duvets aren’t as commonly used here in the states as we use top sheets, which are far easier to wash. Plus putting a duvet in its cover is a real pain. We use comforters, quilts, blankets, or bedspreads on top of our top sheets.
Your storage area seems really difficult to access but I imagine you do what you can with the space you have. Just a bit worrying to see you climb a ladder……be careful!

Instead of boiling your eggs try steaming them , no problem getting shells off!

They’re expensive to buy and run, and historically we haven’t had very hot summers. It’s climate change I guess
@@CarlaJenkins the weather is changing here in the states as well,,,, our warmer weather here in New England runs later into Fall,,,, May and June seem to be cooler and rainy,,,, I wouldnt survive without air conditioning,, I wish i had central air conditioning but am greatful for my two window units,,,,,
I am like you with changing the bed...my worst hated job. We have a king size duvet and I was always putting it in the cover the wrong way round (the side part to the end) and it bunched up, so I would have to dive in and move it round. I ended up sewing two red threads to the end corners so I now know which is the long end!

Can i apply for egg peeler job ? U put the boiled eggs in cold water and keep changing cold water soon as it warms up again , ice cold best. Infact scrap the tips il put them on my app form xx
Eggs don’t peel for me either! Some instagrams I follow wipe around the sink with the used flannel then put it in the wash, two birds with one stone and all that!

Did you know - you can buy hard boiled eggs already peeled! Tesco have them as a ‘snack’ in their meal deal selection!! 🎉
I feel your pain regarding eBay stock😂. I've got it everywhere. My loft is quite low and very warm, but there is stuff stacked up in-between packing materials and boxes.....but I am addicted to charity shops and carboots, so it just keeps coming😂😂

Birds have been helping themselves to the cherries on my tree 🙃
I used to live on 7 acres and had many types of fruit and nut trees. One year, the birds completely stripped every 🍒Royal Anne cherry from the trees in one early morning. I was angry.
Loved the look of the big paddling pool in your garden and showed it to Paul but he replied with a few expletives so I don't think I will be getting one 😂😂

Put the egg in a glass and cover the opening with your hand then shake the glass and egg up and down for 15 sec and hey presto you will be able to peel the egg much easier as it drove me mad until I found this hack ❤ Rosey
Strain water from pan put lid on pan thenshake the eggs around shell comes off easily
Weirdly my hubby likes peeling eggs so I’m usually off the hook! He also loves to peel my back if I have a sunburn which I don’t mind either so it works for us! When you’re a millionaire you will probably be able to have a bed away from the wall! 😂🥰🇨🇦

You said “flannel “ so much I remembered that’s what my mum always called it, so do I but my kids call it face cloth…they know what I mean when I say flannel but don’t use it themselves 🤔🙃

I remember when I traveled to England from the States 11 years ago, that no inn or hotel provided a flannel, or as we call it washcloth. Thought it quite strange. There were towels but nothing to wash with. Granted we didn’t stay at 5* hotels but not in low end places either. Wonder if that’s changed.
I hope you don’t mind me asking Carla but as a book blogger/reviewer I have lots of thrillers and contemporary books I’ve already read. They are new only been read by me. I’d love to pass them on to someone….so would you like them? They were free to me most of them from the author or publisher. I want NOTHING for them. I could send them or drop them off wherever.
