There were moments from this fight we couldnt see because the movie kept going to yoda vs palpatine as it was happening at the same time. So satisfying seeing some missing moments here.
Gives me goosebumps
What's neat is that a lot of those are in unfinished deleted scenes. And the parts that are just entirely missing were plugged with deleted choreography from the Dooku Anakin fight
Theory should team up with these Clone Wars animators and make his fan films look like this instead. I mean can you imagine his Thrawn series looking like this?!??
It has taken them years to produce though.
@@corellioncrusaderproductio4679
Yeah since it’s one guy. If they bring in the animator for Tukk Tales and other people who know how to animate in the Clone Wara style or know how to animate CG characters in general I’m pretty sure it can be done quicker.
@tallerwarrior1256 much better idea over his AI generated webseries
@@tallerwarrior1256 true
That would be crazy
Bravo to everyone involved. From the clone war style lightsabers, to Anakin’s CW voice…just perfection.
Well, to be fair the voices are spot on because it's just taken from the lego games, which are the clone wars actors doing the movie lines.
@@corellioncrusaderproductio4679 its still well implemented
@@jamesandersen4986 Well duh, it’s because the lines from the Lego are from missions that based on the scenes from the movie. Lol
@@Deathpool_04 Yes well duh. Do you think thats it? You think its just copy paste? It still needs a lot of work to implement them well. Or else wed have odd sounding audio that doesn't match the environment or mouth movements.
@@jamesandersen4986 I’m talking about how people are saying the CW voice is spot on. No shit, there are things you could improve upon for the animation but it’s still a pretty good animation.
When a common RUclipsr can make way better Star Wars content than the billion dollar corporation.
I mean its not really. Its copying a scene in the style of an animated show the billion dollar corporation did. Its impressive for being fan made sure...but its the same content essentially
@@wingedassassin9999That's whats impressive about it...
@@wingedassassin9999you mean the same Disney company who copied a new hope and made almost a billion off the force awakens? Yeah totally not weird at all!
it is literally animated version of content from a billion dollar corporation lmao
I already know this wont be a popular take but I hate seeing creatives this talented using it on the IPs of corporations. Create a new world or work, do your own thing. Stan Lee said it best "When I started, I didn't want to write for Superman and Batman, so I created Spider-Man & X-Men.
I would pay good money for the entire movie to be remade this way, with the final episodes of the Clone Wars with Ahsoka added in. That would be the ultimate version of Revenge of the Sith.
Please everyone, like the comment above to maybe show Feloni how much we would support this^
It would never happen, but now that I see the emotional impact seeing live-action moments in Clone Wars animation (I used to think it was pointless), I want to.
And just imagine the Windu vs Palpatine duel in clone wars style and made according to the novel, would be one of the best.
Thunderous Applause
There's an edit of RotS called the Fulcrum Edit, that has all the Ahsoka stuff added in chronologically where it's supposed to be. It's like 4 hours long, but it's the only way I watch RotS now.
The story of Anakin Skywalker gets more tragic by the DECADE.
Had no idea about the “Padme, help me” line.
Me either. That's makes it so much sadder. He was so confused and in pain.
Vader is a monster but he may be one of the most relatable ones.
I mean that's basically the plot of revenge of the sith and Anakin's whole story. he did what he did based on his instinct, spontaneous nature, and emotion to try and do whatever he can to keep padme safe no matter the cost, although he did the wrong things. At the end of the day he was still just a boy and a kid. That was probably his last moment of "what have I done? What's left?"
@@tfcbioshock he was also corrupted and gaslit into thinking he alone could save everyone. So, yeah, his story is a tragedy.
Same here! How embarrassing, How embarrassing. How did we miss this??
When did he say this?
The added look of realization and concern on Obi Wans face when Padme says there is still good in him was a very nice touch. He realized in that moment that his job wasn’t finished.
Did anyone else pick up on the change of demeanor from Palpatine?? It’s almost like he was “mad” at Anakin/Vader for losing and in short jeopardizing part of the future he was going to build.
Yea, when I saw Palpatine's face I could really feel the rage emanating from him at Vader's failure. I think it's more in character for him at this moment than the live-action where he seems more concerned than angry. Although he is feeling both, it's clear that Palps is about to punish Vader in this version while keeping him alive until he can get a new and more powerful apprentice; Luke. Absolutely powerful and emotional scene.
@Roman_Eagle U know, Palpatine was always feeding Anakin's ego, always saying he was special and better than everyone else, so much that as a Sith drunk with power, Vader became overconfident and careless with led to him being chopped up and burned. Bet Palpatine was wishing he'd instructed Anakin not to go after someone with the high ground, not that he had foreseen Anakin's failure on Mutafar.
I did that was a nice touch
I caught that too. You don't see that in Episode III
I came here to say this. He's furious at Anakins failure. As soon as Vader walked up beside him he turns away slightly. Imagine being alive because you were the only real option. Sure the others were okay, but nothing compared to Vader, until Luke came along.
Remember that JJ Abrams claimed to be a Starwars fan and even with millions of dollars he could not even come close to this
If that’s the truth, he must be proud of the fans😏
He watched Star Wars once back in 1987 and claims he’s a fan.
Force awakens showed , That he knew nothing
He knows next to nothing about actual Star Wars lore.
couldn't*
It’s amazing how much animation can add onto an already iconic duel
Lol it didnt add anything
@@XwezzyOby that very same opinion, neither did Ashoka’s involvement in season 7.
@@moongoalie2410 at least we got order 66 from her perspective
@@XwezzyO wow, so in your own words “it didn’t add anything” *lol*
@@XwezzyO look, I’m not here to be ass, but come on…if we want to be so hypercritical we can literally make a lot of the same claim for anything. Mandalorian, boba fett, Andor, all them literally add nothing but just shoehorning itself in Lucas’ work to make an easy buck off of nostalgia.
the way he got the motion blur on the sabers is flawless
And they got something else I loved from clone wars..the way the lightsabers seem to bend and curve when used with enough speed and ferocity
The fact that they captured Anakin's heavy saber strikes with "Djem So" so perfectly makes the choreography hit harder ngl
And the fact than ligthsabers arr dangerous bc we dont see this anynore😢
This just goes to show, no matter how far away Disney get's from what we want to see, the fans always come back with amazing things.
The added and extended choreography in this video that was substituted with the Sidious/Yoda scenes from the movie were absolutely amazing. Watching this duel in one take all on Mustafar without the cuts to Coruscant was spectacular.
Star Wars does belong to the fans. You are a huge part of that fandom and you actually are what got me back into Star Wars.
May the Force Be With You.... Always.
Indeed
I caught the video last night. Loved it! They did the recreation so well that it was so familiar yet, felt so brand new! Seriously, if they could recreate all the prequels in Clone Wars style animation….I’d be amazed.
As awesome as that would be, it took them 4 years or so to make this so probably won't happen
@@TheTruMan196well this is just one animator I think (with a team helping with sound design, composition, voice actin, etc) but considering disney puts out bad batch so fast it really shouldnt take that long especially since its a billion dollar corp in disney
YEEEES PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!
Why is it that a fan can make something this cool yet Disney can't, Disney is allergic to anything cool.

Goes to show that Star Wars belongs to the fans too. Since they can make incredible animation like this and incredible what if stories like yours.
I’ve been following this team since day one. They started this project a little over 3 years ago and I gotta tell you it was so worth the wait. IT’S PHENOMENAL
It’s sad how just animating the prequel movies to TCW never occurred to Disney. They could be sitting on billions of dollars right there but Disney won’t bother.
They probably have considered it but they're allergic to good ideas
Animating the originals and prequels in TCW chefs kiss!💋
Disney isn't concerned with that. Making money for their shareholders by creating great content is not the current Disney management's main goal.
They wouldn’t make that much on reanimating things people have already seen, from a business pov. It’s neat and good for the fans but it’s really only fan service for a short time, they spent a LOT of money making shows and films
It would be redundant. It's been industry standard for years that animating something that already exists, therefore with a larger budget and better internal development, doesn't serve any new purpose. In this case, it would really be fan service and not much else- it's a huge commitment to animate 3 movies, and by extent, the rest of them
That last shot of Obi-Wan’s face with Padmé shows just the start of his inevitable PTSD. Everything happened so fast - from killing Grievous to his clones turning on him through his fight with Anakin and Padmé’s death - it’s just now starting to sink in. Poor guy!
Dude and then Satine dying also…
Why can't Disney just give us a animated Vader series of him hunting Jedi and time between episode 3 and 4??
He’s not a black female…

Great Job to Hello There and thank you theory for reacting to pure talent.
I was astounded by the power and depth of this fan edit. The force is strong with this one. 😇
This is truly an example of the Fandom Menace. Fantastic work @HelloThereAnimation! I look forward to seeing more inspired content from them and SWT!
i love how they made subtle changes to emphasize Palpatine’s disappointment in Vader. him not saying anything when finding him on Mustafar, Anakin hanging his head, and Palpatine’s slight head turn away when Vader walks up next to him on the Star Destroyer
What astonished me was the Vader rising scene, the quality of that looked even better than the original movie. That's insane.
The original 2003 animated series still blows me away.
I remember being 7 years old seeing that play on tv late at night 😂
When you've arguably spent more years of your life, becoming emotionally attached to the animated versions of these characters (over Seasons of television), than the live action versions, this just hits harder.
To see an animated Obi-Wan crying, an animated Anakin burn and an animated Padma die, is heart wrenching, more than the movies.
This is the epitome of what Star Wars fan film is about seeing this when it premiered I had to watch it again to make sure what I saw was real
24:44, "I never thought it would feel the first time again" . I think you feel that way because it is. Audiences got to see Anakin and Obi-Wan's relationship develop throughout the Clone Wars TV Series, we got to see Anakin and Obi-wan become brothers and to see them fight in the war together time after time and risk their lives for each other. Now they are trying to kill one another is incredibly heartbreaking. We got to see the full arc of Anakin and Obi-wan story in The Clone Wars animated series with this fan film.
The people in live chat thinking the voices were AI. Like bro, they’re from the movie and the lego game XD
I'm in few FB groups consistently crying about Theory, saying "he's toxic yada-yada, saying Theory only shits on SW these days, that he is a "bad person"...".
None of them have any attention to this project or even knew it existed. Who's the real Star Wars fan there?
The way you notice the small details, like the inclusion of a deleted clone wars episode scene, only a real fan and someone who truly loves Star Wars can do that.
What we shit on these days is bad excuse of Disney star wars abominations (with exceptions, of course), we praise great things like this fan-made animation made with more love and pure talent than the official Disney product.
Theory, keep doing what you're doing and best wishes for the next year and the future. You are one of a kind and we love you!
And thank you for bringing attention to this amazing project that would've otherwise been missed by so many!
was waiting for this reaction. DISNEY COULD NEVER
See, this guy made all this himself by hand, no AI, and no stealing someone's face to do so. Inspiring.
I think they used AI for some of the dialogue
@@aurorapaisley7453
I thought they just copied and pasted the dialogue from the Lego Star Wars game
See, this is what the right amount of passion and creativity that the fans are capable of. Something that a corporation is lacking. And not for nothing theory, If someone gave you an insane amount of money Would you consider animating Heir to the empire Dark force rising and Last command?
For the people saying “yeah, but this could be better”, you’re not _technically_ wrong but remember that this animation was done by 1 guy for over 4 years. He had a team for music mixing and editing and supervision, but there was one sole editor
Okay now can someone do this to the whole film, or even the original micro series?
RIGHT?! The one thing I was hyped and eagerly anticipating for ALL these years after TCW was announced to return back in 2018 was the BATTLE OF CORUSCANT. But god DAMNIT they bait and switched us! I get it, but I still feel that having done a TCW version of that battle would've still been the best creative decision for TCW S7 at the time. To further bring the show and era to a close as well as tie in with ROTS. Microseries did it, why can't the final SW project of George Lucas, w/ Dave Filoni, do it too?! ESPECIALLY in that masterpiece, peak S7 style and lighting and effects. UGHHH. "We were THIS CLOSE to GREATNESS!" as one crybaby Imperial Director once stated! ;D
This took 3 years to make. You'll be 80 when the whole film releases
I love that they combined music from the live action and TCW. Absolutely hits.
Everyone missing Anakin saying “Padme help me…” before he’s encapsulated as Vader in the suit.
Literally everyone already know that, no one missed
They pretty much added small scenes that woulda played out in-between the cuts from other scenes in the movie, they did an amazing job 🔥👏
Also going from the campfire scene to Mustafar really adds a lot more to this already, the choice to have Anakin thinking of that time before the fight showed he was conflicted even here but ultimately decided there was no going back, and now makes me think his reasoning trying to kill Obi-Wan in this situation would be to keep Obi-Wan from having to live and suffer knowing Anakin let him down
On point
He got the voices from the LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga, done really well
HOLY SHIT!!! Gobsmacked. That was fantastic. To see that scene done with the Clone Wars cast made me feel like it genuinely belonged in the series
This is the 4th time I’ve watched this so far and couldn’t wait to watch it with SWT to see his reactions and insight. Your point of view is truly the most organic and informative for me anyway. Thank you for continuing to post content.
It was insanely good! Just shocked at how good this was, it was like watching it for the first time again, thank you for letting me re live that moment
I feel like you can feel Hayden’s acting more in this. The agony he’s going through seems so real and you can feel it
It really gives an emotional farewell 😢 to the clone war's series and timeline this is an Epic Masterpiece well done 🎉Hello Their 👏 👌👍
This 15 minute fan animation is better than the entire Sequel trilogy
💯
These animated characters showed so much more emotion. Even behind his mask I could feel all the pain, anguish and sadness he felt. The sadness in Kenobi's eyes watching Anakin hit me in the feels.😢
This was so sick, and it's so crazy how this is fan made and looks very close to how the show looks, heck i would pay to get ROTS animated and have the clone wars and bad batch scenes in there too with order 66
why this hit harder than live action LMAOO
I want an extended Revenge of the Sith in animated format now. Some of the motions here look absolutely brilliant with the perfect balance of weight and fluidity in them. Also, the improved cinematography, damn. Love it!
It's absolutely stunning. Now compare this to the Acolyte .This fan production is a million times better
now we need an animated version of Revenge of the SIth done in Clone Wars style
I watched it yesterday and it was amazing. Props to the animator, he’s an OG fan.
this is so cool!!! how the hell am i a month late of watching this. props to the guys that made this cause this legit looks like official disney of the actual cw with rots mixed. it’s cool too cause you can hear anakin say “padme help me” as the helmet goes over his face like in the movie.
I'd love to see these guys do this with Ahsoka episode 5. Seeing all that in Clone Wars animation would be incredible.
Now that's an idea
Love how much you support the community, I watch your stuff in phases as a semi-semi-pro starwars fan but it's always refreshing.
21:00 YUP STILL CRYING😭❤💔 Freak sakes that was so good. I needed to pause.
The fact that was a FAN animation blows my mind every time. SO GOOD
The people complaining in the live chat replay make me cringe. Like, can't you guys just appreciate this for what it is?
Exactly lmao
"BETTER THAN DISNEY"
Lmao Disney made this, the models, quality, etc are all by them
This show how good Hayden and Evan were at stunt dueling it’s almost the same speed
Amazing, fans will keep the force strong
When I first saw it, I cried. It felt just like it did when I binged all of Star Wars with my dad (Clone Wars and everything in between) in chronological order but amplified with the CW art style. It was amazing ♥️
I wish the fight in the movie showed the whole fight, but it is understandable that they showed the fight between Yoda vs. Darth Sidious and Obi Wan vs Anakin/Darth vader
I can't believe how GREAT this is. I'm without words.
ALSO I FUCKING LOVE the reference to Ahsoka after the control room scene. Anakin switches to a reverse Juyo grip for just a few second, and its so threatening that Obi-Wan feels he has to jump out onto a girder to disorient Anakin and make him revert to a more familiar style...
George Lucas underestimated the power of the fans! This was the best fan film ever. Better than anything Disney has done by far. Please just review fan films Theory!
patron loophole super smart. can't carowdfund sw projects? no problem, we'll use our patron funds that came directly from posting content and use that to "indirectly" fund the project. disney/lucasfilm can't do shit, because at that point the funds can be distributed however the creator see's fit.
Theory is right. I love Hayden but I only knew him from the movies. I never saw Clone Wars Anakin that I grew up with fully turn. Here we see our actual hero in the fight and it's devastating. The Anakin voice is my only critique it seems too deep. But other than that this is perfection
This made me cry a little I won't lie I miss Star Wars...
23:40-23:42 If you listen you can hear Anakins faint voice pleading "Padme help me" just before the mask goes down.
This. Was. AMAZING! Kudos to all involved in the making of this animated short! Bravo, and Brava!
If we got this. Pray we can please please get en entire shot for shot animated remake of that of revenge of the sith, 4 hour edition with the clone wars episodes. God damn. Give this man a job and some Disney money so we don’t have to wait 20 years.
Starts at 10:50
13:38 bro is mesmerized, he can't even formulate opinions at this point
I saw fan made Anakin Vs Obi-Wan Clone Wars film first thing in the morning. It made my. It even shared it to my dad, brother and uncle. It was that good.
YOU CAN HEAR A HEART BEAT AS VADER’S HELMET IS SLOWLY PUT ON HIM!!! IT THEN STOPS UNTIL AFTER VADER BREATHES!!!! YOU ALSO HEAR A FADED HEART BEAT AS PADME SLOWLY DIES!!! I love this detail as it solidifies the theory how Palpatine transferred life from Padme to Anakin/Vader!!!
This was so amazing and so beautiful to watch. It felt like I was rewatching this for the first time again. This is Star Wars!!!
Fun Fact: Vader at the end was rebels Vader. this fan film isn't only epic but also ties in The Clone Wars with Star Wars Rebels
It's Vader from Clone Wars. Rebels Vader is different
This is the second time I’ve watches this on Theory’s channel. And it’s like I’m watching it for the first time. I doubt it’ll ever get old.
I have no word's just Amazing ❤🔥🤘
it missing a hint of fear when anakin see the vader mask for the first time. that's the one thing that the live action did so well was: in that moment, you can see just from his eyes movement alone, that he felt great uncertainty.
Star Wars isn’t dead, Disney Star Wars is dead. George should have gave it to the fans instead of Disney
Looks like you guys love Disney
Always talking about them
Imagine someone doing the yoda vs emperor scenes. Edit them together like the movie
I love how they fixed the chin part of vader's helmet. In the original movie there's a shot in where that chin part is missing as the main face piece is being put on and then in the next shot is magically in where it always should have been.
I never knew about the ‘Padme Help me’ line. Shivers. Harrowing stuff
I prefer Hayden’s screams of agony and delivery but I still love this animation. It connects it all so well.
30:40 WAT? Ive never heard that in my life and this is my favorite Star Wars movie!! I say again, WAT!? 😲
Gave me goose bumps. You guys should definitely team up and i didnt know vader says that! At the end. But man hope they do more.
The way palpatine was there matches how his clone wars version is
seeing clone wars anakin with sith eyes just hits different. i also like the little detail of palpatine looking mad when he finds anakin burned instead of worried like he was in the movies, because palpatine was genuinely upset with anakin for losing to obi wan
Why was vader burning somehow more disturbing in animation to me
Because we spent 7 seasons with this version of Anakin who was more human and more in depth. And seeing him have the same fate... is even more sad.
This portrayed the genius of George Lucas
I wish they would make an animated version of each movie.
I want the whole movie in clone wars animation
I love how the animator captured Anakin and obi wans forms during the duel so perfectly with Kenobi on defensive and Anakin on offensive while Kenobi only attacks when he sees an opening
seeing the short film felt like i was watching rots for the first time. I felt like a kid again.
I loved the PS2 revenge of the sith game too. I remember it being released before the movie hit cinemas in the UK, and playing it before watching was interesting, it was cool to see elements that differed in the movie, it was awesome to see variants in official releases, so I'm so grateful to fans carrying on this tradition in many forms of media!
You know you have it bad when you can quote everything they’re about to say. 😂😂😂
