Well you need to apply heat slightly , step by step.. But not recommending to heat when it swollen..

I have a Ipad with shuts down when i turn it on , when i charge it it heats up very hot and I think there is a battery problem do i have to replace it? and how much would it cost
It might be the battery, sometimes it can something with the board( ex - Bad IC, Charging port issue), but in the first step you can try to replace the battery. The battery price is around $30-40, plus service fee (depends on the location)..Once you open the device, do not close it, just replace it and test.Also you can try a board technician, they might able to figure out the issue too.

best way is back up and do the storage change. Back up to a external device or icloud

Yeah i guess its normal because of brightness when i use full brightness my ipad 8 got warm too

We are using adhesive strips, seems like it got edited by mistake.Please user pre cut adhesive or double sided tape.
