I did find the Uthmani script much easier to learn than the Indo-Pak script. However, due to learning the Uthmani script I can flip over to the Indo-Pak script if I go to any predominately Indo-Pak masjids in the UK. However, I read the Uthmani script daily as this is what I am used to. i have noticed many of my friends who grew up on the Indo-Pak script find it difficult reading the Uthmani script but honestly I feel that Uthmani script is good especially learning tajweed rules.
From pakistan and most of the mushafs in my house have naskh, except one with uthmani script, but I always preferred reading from the app instead of the mushaf, and now I realise the app is uthamni script. I just find it easier.

We started with Nasq in India and our Arabic teachers here are not aware of Nasq become little critical and it may discourage us but SubhanAllah we should continue what you know already and learn Usmani Sript also. I started with Naksh which I do call indoPak, and I prefer IndoPak. Uthmani isn’t that much harder but Wisam is right mashAllah. It becomes a crutch. And I panicked because not even most Quran apps have Naskh script.
Is it possible for someone to change their quran during hifdh? I started off with a 13 line quran where the verses flow over into the next page and now want to switch to a 15 line quran cause I think the structuring of the pages and ajza would help me greatly both in memorizing and review. Both are naskh scripts but the verses are obviously on different parts of the pages. Bearing in mind i'm an adult and not a full time hifdh student, which do you think might be better for me if its possible to change?

My first Quran teacher was Indian, so I learned how to read Naskh, initially, but I prefer Uthmani.

Alhamdulillah I can read both of them but I prefer naskh sometimes because it's short to read them simply rather than uthmani ,☺️😊🥰

As someone who read in naskh script ( indopak) I prefer people to read uthmani cuz once u get used to indopak then it's really hard to read uthmani

I am form northeastern part of India and it is very hard to find a Uthmania Mushaf here. Man i really want one but can't find one 💔
