Air from the lungs escapes ONLY THROUGH THE MOUTH. Such sounds are called ORAL SOUNDS.
If the soft palate is raised, the air from the lungs cannot enter the nasal cavity and so cannot escape outside through the nostrils. Also, the air that enters the nasal cavity from outside cannot enter the lungs.
The soft palate is lowered and has come away from the back wall of the pharynx. Therefore, the NASAL CAVITY IS OPEN. The air from the lungs can enter the nasal cavity and then escape into the outer atmosphere through the nostrils. Also, the air from outside can enter the nasal cavity.
When we articulate certain speech sounds, the soft palate is LOWERED and so the nasal cavity is opened. The oral passage is closed completely either by shutting the two lips firmly or by making a firm contact between some part of the tongue and the corresponding part of the roof of mouth. So the air from the lungs can escape only through the nose. Such sounds are called nasal sounds.
In English [m], [n] and [N] are nasal sounds.
In English, all the twenty vowels are ORAL SOUNDS. Also, all the consonants except [m], [n] and [N] are ORAL SOUNDS.
We need TWO organs of speech or articulators for the articulation of any speech sound. One of the articulators moves towards the other articulator when we articulate a speech sound. The articulator that moves is called the active articulator and the articulator which does not move (or the articulator towards which the active articulator moves) is called the passive articulator.

Three-term descriptions (or) Three-term labels: Once we are able to describe a consonant in terms of the six points we consider while attempting a classification of consonants, we can give a short descriptive label for each consonant. The first of the three terms refers to the state of the glottis during the articulation of a consonant, the second term refers to its place of articulation and the third term refers to its manner of articulation.

14:15 there's a mistake here in your explanation of the sound. You're explaining v sound instead of w sound that's mentioned here. To better differentiate, just remember "Bite your V's and kiss your W's (as in woman)" 😊
