The part where he's staring at the poster in his grimy work clothes is so real. Canada comes across as this picture perfect place. It's not, many of us live shitty lives. When most people think "Canada" they don't think about the poverty, junkies, and shady/run down areas that are prevalent all over our country. :(
Some parts are not as great as the rest of the world makes Canada out to be...but compared to many other parts of the world Canada is amazing. Blessed we are all to live here, where we don't have to worry about shootings and other horrible things. As for the "shitty lives"...life is what you make of it...you need a better life, go out and get it. Nobody should be handed anything...you work hard and good things will come, its all about your outlook on life too.

i work construction sunrise to sunset everyday 6 sometime 7 days a week with sidejobs, havnt had a day off since the beginning of june till now, get 4 hrs sleep a night n so it all over again, 12 hrs is a normal day for me but work overtime ontop of 12 atm

Anyone hating on 8 hours a day probably has mommy and daddies credit card and don't know the first thing about struggling. We work because we have to. Because we are fucking men and get up at the Crack of dawn to make sure our loved ones and ourselves are fed, clothed and housed. Honest days work is nothing to hate on. Big up, this is my morning song on my way to work, and it hits me in ways that these people clearly will never understand.

When i was working 12 hour shifts construction, to help my family out when i was 15 turning 16, stopped doing school and started getting back injuries, moved out and paid for everything in my life before i turned 17... the only thing that helped me in the morning sometimes was this song! I love you snak and you helped me through some dark times, one day i hope i get to meet u one day. I can so relate to this song. Just pushing through the days till the next pay check. Habits to pay for and a family to look after. But even before my family it was still tough. Snak is a dope artist and only deserves the top.
Snak is one of the trueful I met him in real life at a show one night bought me a bunch of drinks then asked if I like rap and of course I did then he walked up to the stage and killed it.
