These Terminator figures are amazing. I have all but the one in this video which will be bought at TRU tomorrow. Very cool. Great sculpt work on the heads.

Should I buy this or the tech noir figure?
I also want an answer to this. I'm leaning towards this one because it seems more iconic and the extra arm and the hemostats just look like wasted accessories on the Tech Noir.
Overall this is the cooler looking figures IMO but the Tech Noir actually is what I think of for Arnold's look from the original Terminator movie. They are both decent figures though so go with the one you think looks best.
I have the Ultimate T800 from Terminator 2, so I'm more interested in getting the Tech Noir because it's more unique in comparisson.

I find it interesting how most advertising material features a shirtless Arnold wearing only the jacket holding the laser sighted handgun, a look and weapon that were never actually paired in film.
All the ones that I seen today had bad paint jobs.

This is a great figure. I do agree with the articulation issue. Especially on the elbows. Otherwise it's another solid figure by NECA.
I did find a solution for the elbows on mine. I slightly pulled out the joints on the elbows a little bit, so he could bend at more of a 90 degree angle. It looks kinda ugly with the joint out that far, but it works.

I just got my terminator shoot out model today and when you take his head off it is practically impossible to put it back on as for his hands don't get me started as you need Arnold swartszennegers muscles to put on the extra hands and heads

Awesome review! I'm definitely gonna get this figure! I want an ultimate Kyle Reese aswell but I read on a forum that there won't be one and that sucks ass of its true. Kyle Reese is my favourite character in the whole franchise :(

optimasprimal1987 yes very as I got mine today and be warned if you take his head of to change it to another head it is impossible to pop in on and his hands but by watching this review the guy neglects to tell you this so be warned
Marty boy Use a hair dryer to soften the plastic. It makes the heads easier to swap.

Hasbro needs to take notes. Look at the details and accessories NECA gives you for same price. Some places five bucks more. I'd gladly pay $25 for Marvel Legends for better paint apps and accessories. DC Coleectibles has been kicking ass recently too.
