Oh how wonderful. I am looking to get back into charcoal pastels and can't wait to do a beach ocean landscape like this. The last technique you showed is new to me with the scraping. Thank you for doing this. I need to see if you have other landscape tutorials too because I need to do one of our back yard which is farm country. My pastel work usually just looks a smudgy mess. You've really inspired me to go back and look at this medium again.

That's what most of us amatures would not do! Their is a dicipline to art. #1- never rush it #2- observe it
#3- fill in the emptiness to fullness. Wala!
