2022 Live Review 2 | AP Statistics | Making Sense of Probability & Random Variables

In this AP Daily: Live Review session, we will discuss strategies for success on AP Statistics Exam questions involving probability and random variables. We will focus on essential concepts and skills, including determining if events are mutually exclusive or independent, calculating the mean and standard deviation when combining random variables, performing a normal distribution area calculation, describing a sampling distribution for a sample proportion, using rules for transforming random variables, and calculating conditional probabilities. We will also review strategies for success on multiple-choice and free-response questions, including: Venn diagrams, sketching a picture, using the formula sheet, and tree diagrams.
