I fw this heavy. Say, did you see they released an updated version of the set? New locomotive has a slightly tweaked design and new sounds. They finally fixed the chuffing.
I thought about getting the Polar Express in HO, but I don't like talgo trucks. I'd have to convert all of 'em to body mounted Kadee's. Instead I'm buying some Atherarn and MRC engines. Cheers from eastern TN
You have the combine on backwards. the passenger end should be to the rear so the passengers can move to the rest of the passenger cars, including the diner. The way you are running it, the passengers are isolated from the rest of the train.
@@LoweLockRailRoad It is hare to see the direction of the footprints, but I suspected they had influenced you. Lionel has been imprecise with their details. I have three American Flyer Polar Express cars. I wish they had left the "snow" off the roofs. And they put the Billy on the wrong side of the observation car.
I have all 9 ho Polar Express coaches too.
They are pretty amazing

Their passenger cars are easily convertible, you need to get the body mount coupler box and extended screw on Lionel's parts department website
