I feel everything he said. I got shipped to Naij for the whole of secondary school 4 years of beats, early morning cold showers, malnutrition from not eating properly. Icl it was good character building but it made me wanna rebel when I finally came back I had a grudge against everyone leading to bad decisions and eventually prison. Parents need to understand uprooting your children and putting them in an environment with strangers and a culture they’re not used to is not the answer

I remember me and my boys got chased by cherry yutes on my boys 15th when we were coming from Odeon, they were asking my boy what ends he was from, we weren’t tryna say lewisham, so he was like “the block” they were like “what block fam” he was like “the block man” 😂😂😂😂 I can laugh at it now but they could of eliminated all of us that night. They chased us we all scattered and split up like mice

bro i felt that boarding school in africa is harder than prison i uk ,i went boarding school in zimbabwewhen i was 8 ,that place was crazy ,cold showers at 5 in the morning and then changing outside in cold weather ,punishments digging pits ,deep as tall as you are in the sun ,beatings that turned your arse blue ,the food was horrible sometimes i would skip meals ,up to this day i dont eat properly sometimes i'll skip the whole days meal

He wasn’t acting like a bad man in he’s school because he was on he’s own and didn’t have no one to help… only bad in a gang
All I can say is Fola and Abiola and few others are the OG Thamesmead youths. After they grew up and left/ moved out the new generation claiming Thamesmead were washed. Wiser was the only person making noise and he weren't even from Thamesmead. He was moving like Debo LMAO but even he got ducked down when he try come poly by a Woolwich youth. Cherry Youths had Greenwich borough on smash from like 09/10 - 13. No one ever knew where Thamesmead was outside of the borough loool. Only Woolwich and the cherry youths were known like that in south. All in all Greenwich borough was never as bad as Southwark, Lambeth or Lewisham boroughs. It's only recently its become a proper warzone.
Idk about that. Mouse (PDC) used to jam with the Woolwich ones and Nuttie (S.I) was close with a few Thamesmead guys too. Lastly, just because more stuff was going on in one borough than the other doesn't mean the areas from the borough with less stuff going on aren't as OJ. Thamesmead and Old Kent Road had a madness during those times and so did Woolwich and Peckham iykyk.
Outside the borough that the same for all endz nobody knew about greenwich like that what happened to slience from cherry though
