Thank you for introducing me to this aria. While I'm certainly familiar with some other arias by this composer - like "Caro Nome Che Il Mio cor", the best version is by Denise Leigh - this particular aria I haven't heard yet. Partially because there's a HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE shortage of proper coloraturas left in the world. Nearly 90 percent of all sopranos have the worst WOBBLE vibratos by far, which is why most people dislike opera. Anyway, LOVE your voice. Keep it up. The only thing that got me wondering was how your vibrato slowed down from where it was before. I'm afraid to say it but it's just starting to sound just a bit like a wobble to me. Joyce DiDonato says that the more trills you do, the lesser chances of developing a permanent wobble. Even if your repertoire doesn't require trills all that much.
@@michaelkazmierskidunn7189 thanks for your comment, I really agree and I feel that my voice has already changed compared to February when this video was made. It's the same comment that Mrs. Kabaivanska made to me so I immediately started working on improving myself. 🙏🏼
@@mirianacolagiovanni6703 Interesting you also notice that yourself. If I were you, I'd probably expose yourself to some of my favorite coloraturas if you haven't heard them already. Denise Leigh, Abby Fischer, Emma Matthews, Cristina Deutekom (best roulades EVER, in Cristina's case), Joyce DiDonato of course, Cecilia Bartoli, etc etc. All of these sopranos have (or once had) super amazing vibratos, and I'm sure most of these were trill-based. Perhaps you could ask your teacher if they've heard of Joyce DiDonato's trill exercise to help prevent wobbles, because as I said before, nearly 90 percent of sopranos have true wobbles and yet they aren't even aware of that. I'm quite certain that if most sopranos did not have ear-piercing wobbles, opera would be in a totally different movement for the better.
@@mirianacolagiovanni6703 LOL! If you really want to hear my absolutely favorite, try Denise Leigh's 2003 solo album. I actually made a playlist of all her known recordings on my channel so if you tap on Playlists you should see her somewhere in there. The other playlist basically organize all the recordings on my own channel, but I won't go there haha.

@@michaelkazmierskidunn7189 I really appreciate these artists, I hope that with the next video I will change your mind about my vibrato 😘
