You got me with the blackberries. My berries won't come on for 2 more months. You can tell when they're ripe when the birds poop purple all over my truck.
I'll bet sprinkling a bit of Limoncello or other lemon liqueur on the layers would really boost the lemon flavor. But it might overwhelm the blackberry flavor.
