  • Justin from #linkecu has made the trip up to our shop to get our S2000 kit dialled in. We have been working back and forth with Justin to get all the information possible on drifting this chassis. As well as our Machinist Dylan, who also owns a s2k. With the prototype kit assembled and on the car, Justin will put it through the paces and we will hopefully have an incredible kit available for purchase!
Oh, and we made some rear upper :p

Awesome job guys. That front end is super tricky. Genius idea with the narrow upper arm. Super interested in the rear upper arm for my road/track S2000. Would be very helpful to understand how the toe curve changes in the rear to help counter bumpsteer, especially on an AP1.

Pretty exciting stuff. Are there any plans for a grip kit? And, of course, any plans for a LCA for the rear? One of the big reasons i'm not taking the S2000 out much more on track is age and availability of the suspension parts, with aftermarket stuff tending to have just as many issues as old brittle Honda stuff.

Hey Jossiah, I would really like to see you make an angle kit for the BMW E60 as they are gaining popularity as seat time drift cars. 535s N54 turbos and 545's N62 V8 manuals are great as they are getting very cheap nowadays. Probably still not a large enough market but if you create an angle kit for them that will create a market and people will start considering those chassis for their next project. And before you say these cars are too big and too heavy, that's not true, the E60 chassis itself is actually lighter than the E90 as it is aluminum instead of steel. E60's have large wheelbases which make them super smooth and easy to slide and once you gut the interior they can get very light.

I think people use the e90 angle kits on the e60.

Good luck, those things are crazy expensive now. My old roommate has an all original AP1 and he doesn't drive it anymore because it's appreciating in value so fast that it would be stupid to put miles on it and risk damage. In a couple years that car might pay off his house.
There's a reason nobody makes drift parts for these, and that reason is $$$
