Your models pose so well with so little direction. I'd love to see a how to video for aspiring models from the models point of view. Something they can use to understand movement,posing, and how to work with photographers.

@@swegmastur614 I will. They're not bad it just amateur. By not so much as using a one camera speed light and having to expose for the sun, they are blowing out the details of that beautiful location. You see no detail in the rock, water, trees, mountains or sky. They didnt even need strobes and soft boxes just a one camera flash with a high Guide Number would have allowed them yo underexpose the background just enough to bring out the details while keeping her skin properly exposed. That's the difference between what Pros see and do verses hobbyist.

I love how you always manage to get these serene, ethereal images even in crowded locations- it always looks like just you and the model, and no one else is around for miles!

It's so crazy watching this video since I was there just a few years ago. Banff is definitely one of the most underrated yet most beautiful places in the world.

I'm so surprised at how prospective young photographers prefer Canon over mirrorless options. You'd think that young people prefer cool high tech stuff from Sony, as well as shedding weight, getting rid of the mirror and optical viewfinder which, unless you shoot action, sport, or nature, it really does not matter much. Can you tell us why you prefer Canon? Young guys that are pretty good all use Canon (Tommy Reynolds, you, Robert Strok). And, to my surprise again, it's the old guys who switch from Canon to Sony and Fuji to shed weight, tennis elbow, tendinitis, maybe...

interesting to see your technique, behind the scenes. thanks for sharing. also, interesting to see a different priority with the focus being on the person. as someone who photographs mostly landscape it would be difficult to leave the clouds so overexposed but with that gorgeous model at the foreground, can one really complain?
