Yo the jam starts on my birthday. I now feel an obligation to do it even though I've made one singular game in unity (2D :/) and don't know how to code.
i have meta quest 2. running the project with default settings gives strange result. pixels on edges causes eyes pain. this can be solved with anti aliasing settings. but moving and rotating with sticks causes an really annoying doubling of everything on the scene. it looks like everything has a trails while camera moves. and it is totally fine when you just move your head. any solution for this?
everything goes super nice after applying all settings as described in video "How to Optimize Unity Project Settings for Oculus/Meta Quest 2" by Ludic Worlds
The Flip door doesn't work when I go with joystick to push the door with the hands like you show in the video, just with the "head". Any fix for this? I need some help in this, I want to have a door that is intractable with hands to move

Valem, question! I downloaded it and opened the Start Scene. I get a "Failure to restart OpenXRLoader after shutdown." error. No idea why, this comes up as soon as I open the Start Scene. Any ideas? Thank you!

Hi, I only have a google cardboard like holder for my android phone so last week i was trying to make a vr game for cardboard in unity. I haven't managed to get anything to build and run, i believe they stopped supporting cardboard alltogether. Do you know if there is a trick to making it work? Or is there another SDK that also works for cardboard? I planned to make something where you can plug in earphones and use the volume up, volume down and play/pause buttons on it to move, and interact. I also wanted to make it so you can move diagonally instead if you hold your head sideways. You might just get reasonable movement that way.
Great video. Got a question: When I try to build, it gives a warning that it will only allow me to build the project on Android platform (to build directly on the quest 2) if I change the color space to gamma. Is there a fix for this? If I try to change to gama, it says that some assets are not supported by gamma color space. I'd imagine youre supposed to build with linear Color space

The Gizmos(Audio and Text icon) are Ultra large, making the project unusable. If i switch off the Gizmos, i can't work on the assets. Anyone knows how to make those icons smaller?
What about physics hands, and poke interactors, and inventory, and weapon/tool quick select, and portals? I want all the things. Lol. Guess I have some work to do.

@@ValemTutorials yes thanks, I was just being silly. One thing that meta's interaction SDK has that I want to try and pull out and reuse is their CanvasMesh and Curved UI systems, which render UI so high resolution compared to standard Unity UI components... Hopefully I can get it to play nice with XRI Toolkit or Hurricane.

If you click the Gizmos dropdown in the Game or Scene view you can see a little slider that says 3D icons. Move it to the left and there you go.
