I'm a Solidworks guy trying to learn Creo, and this helped a TON with learning the assembly process. I already knew how to make parts, so it helped having pre-made parts so I didn't have to spend large amounts of time making parts just to learn how to assemble them.

Hello Ivan, Creo educational version files are specifically wrtitten to not be opened in a full version. PTC does have an Import Translator but i believe it's an extra cost for corporate use. Just import my Inventor 2014 Exercise 5 files into Creo. It should work.

I tried that one but didn't work either. It said something went wrong with the Inventor pro license.
However the IGES files worked. Thank you for uploading those!

Great tutorial, thanks! But when I tried to save the file, I saved it as a copy and when I reopened it, it said some components failed to regenerate and I lost most of the parts which I had assembled? Any idea what happened there? How can I avoid that in the future?
