I'm always amazed that people can carry on playing and start long operations like welding when there are sound effects of something moving in a nearby vent - do experienced players know that these sounds can be ignored, or is it just not worth worrying about the risk?
The sounds in this game a very well made and they serve specific purposes, especially where the Alien is concerned. Many vent noises are just him moving around in the vents, but there's a short noise made just before he jumps down from a vent. It's quiet and doesn't last long, but it's a split second cue for you to hide or be ready before the noise of him dropping down is heard. Best way to learn these is to listen and observe.
best tactics is to evade the guard for a while and do all the objectives then alert him and sprint for the newly arrived elevator. That way he killed himself by summoning the alien
@@egorbernik4283 I mean for this particular moment lol. That guard was annoying asf btw. blind as a bat and blaming me for bringing the alien while he fired the first shot. All these pathetic humans were a douche.
I think that might even be one of the last human enemies in the game? Imagine making it this far just to get ninja killed by some mechanic for no particular reason F
I always love messing with that dude and letting the Alien take him out, but one of my favorites is when he ratted himself out ruclips.net/video/HlF0rIK6HoM/видео.html
I didn't know it was that effective. You see it's not a good idea as you need as many of stun batons as possible because of the working joes. Save your ammo for the harder parts and the game is a piece of piss in comparison
As soon as I entered this room the alien was already attacking him and I was just hiding in the elevator like NOPE!
Maybe can happen, never happen to me, maybe try to load this checkpoint again
The idea is to use the guard as bait so you can easily get the door open and leave lol

If you don't do extra noise, not have to worried too much about it, but anyway better do everything with caution and stay alert just in case
That part is scripted, so it's the same every playthrough. Nothing to worry about, you didn't do anything wrong.

Place pipe, molly or smoke behind you while busting the door open so that nothing gets you from behind.
His gun glitched through him! Lol

Is better not make alien to come, otherwise he will coming again and again and you gonna waste more time and resources

I just toss a flare where the guard will investigate it, and the bug whacks him while I am hiding.
It's good strategy but once bug come out, it gonna come again and again, what is more waste of time and resources

well that part happens when the working joe They have protection against electricity, so it is also useful
I might be wrong, but i think you didnt kill him, you simply put him to sleep
He not gonna wake up for the rest of the game
Are the security guards bad guys?
In this game they shooting at you
