Flinter, What’s your general layout strategy for a map or are you always focused on particular animal/co need animal groups? I get the feeling the tent lay outs for just generally enjoying a map are the same and then you shift stands/binds; basically try to make best use of tents with a stable balance of using your outosts to fill gaps…? Love your content❤️🐐
I have problems with Ibex hunting in thehunter classic. The main problem is that I have struggs with getting up to the areas where they are(especially the under end of the map).
I might be one of the weird few nerds, who actually like to see a full lengthy video, that shows all the steps in this process of building up the hunt. Those who have done this before, will most likely catch a lot of self explanatory information, that goes completely under the radar on the newbie’s - why I argue that a full lengthy video would help!
Is there a spread sheet for the best loadout on all the maps, I said that right? idk. i just carry way too many guns and im unsure on what i should use and not use.
I got my first diamond today it was a level 5 goose I was so happy there were 2 flocks of geese I saw a 4 and was about to shoot it but then there I saw a rare so I tried to spot it but accidentally spotted the 5 and got it
This is going to sound so stupid, but how do you rotate the tents before putting them down? Alway got mad when trying to place them and never seen or considered i could rotate lol
It’s the triggers for consoles, on ps4 it’s r2 and on Xbox I think it’s right trigger... could be wrong about Xbox as I haven’t played cotw on Xbox but I know that it’s r2 on ps4 so I assume it’s the corresponding button for xbox
Or you could do what I do walk around bodies of water and blast everything I see. Especially on the New Zealand map Ta Awora or something. Feral pigs are the best for this cause you can catch up to the rest of the herd fairly quickly.

Flinter (or anyone who actually knows): A question I've never seen answered definitively - after setting up a tent near a stand of any kind, whether fixed or portable, when fast traveling in, I notice there is (on top of the tent set-up sound) a construction\assembly sound effect for the stand. Does that mean the game is rebuilding each time, thus generating the noise, spooking all nearby animals? Fast traveling in to a already built stand & tent should be a quiet action, IMHO.
Pretty sure that when u fast travel to a tent it scares all animals within like 150 meter radius... not sure if that distance is totally accurate, but it’s close
I could see where Star Trek teleporting into a tent might generate a noise. Does it it for outposts though? And the added hammering or metal assemblage noise is just going to add to that. Also, does the reconstruction noise spook to a farther range like the ATV? I've noticed if I set the tent somewhere around 70 yards away the reconstruction noise seems to not be activated.
This is one of my biggest struggles. I go to places that people say whitetail drink at 12:00-15:00 and I just find Moose, Blacktail and Black Bear zones 🙄
It's very frustrating that it doesn't show the tripods on the map after you place them And how are you carrying so many tents Is there a perk for that or something
Apparently when you use the tent of the same color it will only weigh as it does for 1 😂 but if you want a tent with multiple colors they weigh different it’s weird.. but it can help if you have the pack mule skill as well
I find myself hunting for RD in the same four spots on Parque. I generally have success but would love an updated Parque vid featuring some lesser known spots; ie Bebe lakes. Thx
If you can with whatever specials your going for do you think it is a good idea to do it on 2 maps at the same time like for red deer you could do cuatro and hershvelden

Flinter, just as a warning I already got a troll level 9 red deer that was 10 points below diamond. To be fair it had the big mythical rack.
Just got one level 9 that was 11 points off. It was the 2nd animal i spotted after the red deer pop reset on Cuatro

Why not just carry the tent? You can access your shop and "cache" from it, once set up... Then you can carry more than just one gun.
How do you have 18 tripods in your inventory. I have one and if i want another its too heavy. Is it on pc or what that you have unlimited weight ?

Idk exactly how it works but i don’t think it scares animals when u go to an outpost and definitely not to the spooking range of an atv

In cuatro colinas the Mosin can beat any species but rabbits, it's 3-7
With the new scoring system I started using the m1 more than the mosin, but it’s still definitely one of the best guns in the game
