@@cassiesadz352 I started out volunteering at a therapeutic horseback riding center when I was in college :). And then it just kind of went for there. Worked as a support worker, and now I'm a counsellor
This show has completely changed my perceptions of young people with disabilities. They are all such unique and intelligent young adults who are articulate and value their friends over everything. I would be honoured to be friends with any one of these people and have a great feeling of respect and gratitude for those who have ensured these wonderful humans get to enjoy the same lives the rest of us do.

That's a beautiful thing to say man! I have grown up with getting close with people who have a mental dissability and are placed in houses like that (I live in The Netherlands) and my mom worked all her life taking care of people. I've been many times to her work and have met a lot of peope also some who also have down syndrome. Did a lot for me how my perception on others was growing up.
Megan is such a little in lady she's so gentle and an award winning equestrian 🐎. Sam better keep her happy 😂
I'm autistic, I'm 21 years old and I actually went into a maintenance Professional Chef and Bakery courses to follow my dreams to be a proper chef, not a kid on chef in a fine restaurant which I was the only special needs person in the whole class and passed all of my three college courses with flying colours. I'm waiting for all of the restaurants and cafes to reopen and also waiting for my vaccine jag so I can go back to some normality that I've required to the vaccine centre when my jab is going to be. I'm so can't wait to go back into work or some routine again :)

Zoe me too I’m autistic 21 I’m 4.10 hight I look like I’m 15 I wish we were friends I didn’t have anyone is middle school too high school my aid bullied me through high school I wish someone would said something school was not fun it was so stressful she would talk crap about my mom and would make me feel terrible about myself but my mom helped me and she’s my best friend and my hero 😀
Actually, that's a great idea, Kimberly, thank you so much for the idea perhaps I'll start a catering business for such for parties, functions and small gatherings only for now but I'll be continuing doing cakes like the last few years since I left college. the only problem is I may have to get some funding from the government to open the catering business from home and I have to think about what menu I can effort to make for 30-50 people plus I live in a council house with a limited small kitchen which I may need to have an extension to the house which it will be my production kitchen if the council allows it less likely will happen lol

I think this show can influence the world in a way that brings us together and show appreciation for life, on a side note that Sam would be a hell of a wing man, good dude.
They live true and pure lives, without restrictions. We should all aspire to be more like each of these individuals.
i feel bad for sam this episode, he clearly is having a hard time. he is normally so bubbly so its sad to see him upset! i share some of his anxieties too about work and relationships so i get where he is coming from - feeling left behind is horrible😥

My weight has been up and down all my life. I use to weigh 350 pds but now I live around 160. I had to change my whole relationship with food and my feelings.
I feel exactly how Sam does about work but found my niche in call centres.
Ps I had a traumatic head injury at 8 years old and my behaviour mimics high functioning autism

Lisa is just amazing! how she dealt with her weight problem by attacking it head on. Absolutely inspirational and so so strong. I just love her to pieces. With that attitude, she can accomplish anything in the world. We should all take a page out of her book. And Hilly, strong and brave enough to admit her mistake, so awesome.
