Hi, you can try to use an old credit card or something like it and slide it down the bulldog clip to stack the cdc.

Very nice. Makes sense. I didn't get the point of the large foam blocks, either, in terms of economy of space vs what the thing's accomplishing.

Could be that "hinge" won't last long, but I guess it's easy replaced.
I'm sure all this has its applications, but some people seem to go through all this palaver when they could just have wound the feather as a hackle. One RUclipsr was using all these Marc Petitjean contraptions to make a collar on a nymph. I asked why he didn't just wind it, and he got quite shirty, but I still don't know the answer. Only thing I can think of is that the butt ends may give a little more volume, and hence float the fly better. Trouble is, it was a wet fly.

I use the big foam blocks to run a circular tube cutter through for booby eyes.

A cheap pair of hair cutting scissors works very well with cutting these away from the shaft of the feather all at once without that stepped end result.

how many is a buncha? or should i ask how many in a buncha? I am from New Zealand, and every time I hear Americans describe a quantity of anything it is referred to as a buncha, so I would like to know the reference count number of a buncha
