    My another question is that, when I started ferber method, my baby slept soon in second and third night. But from night 4 till now(it is night 6) he slept very bad with alot of crying. I don’t know where I was wrong. Maybe because I forced him in 2 first day for nap time to sleep more.

    So sleep train at night first and then when he’s able to sleep through the night begin nap training? So does that mean I can cradle him for naps while he’s night time training?

    Very good video. I have a question, If baby wakes up every 20 or 30 minutes in nap, should I let him to connect the cycles even if he cries alot?

    I am on day 1 of sleep training. The night went ok but he didn’t fall asleep for naps at all. Was screaming in his crib for an hour so we took him out. Same happened on his second nap. Poor guy is so tired! Falling asleep on the boob now :( I hope tomorrow is better...

    • @EllaBeth30
      @EllaBeth30 Год назад +1

      @@bluepant1 honestly it's been great! We stuck with it and maintained the routine and it went better and better each week. The naps take longer for the baby to learn so don't get discouraged! We did reintroduced the pacy for naps though. I don't regret it, it helped him to calm down and sleep easier. Is now on one nap a day and still a great sleeper ever since!

    Is there anything I should be doing from 8 weeks until 4 or 5 months when he’s ready for sleep training? Like if he only does one short nap a day in his crib will he have a hard time when it comes time to sleep train? He’s in a bassinet beside our bed overnight but naps are mostly on me, in the swing or stroller. I’m worried about the transition into training or is it just a matter of starting?

    • @CrystalGonzalez
      @CrystalGonzalez  3 года назад

      I would say whatever works for the first 6 months is just fine. Your baby needs to be sleeping a certain amount per day depending on age and sleep training at a young age isn’t recommended. I would say the biggest transition for me was getting baby to stop falling asleep while breastfeeding, hands down our biggest issue lol but you can makes things easier by setting up a bedtime routine you do at the same time every day so baby knows sleep is next. I hope this helps! 🤗

    Quick question; what if the baby wakes up not crying after a nap of 30-45 min, but will show signes afterwards that he’s still tired.. should we keep him in the crib and wait to see if he cries? Should we pick him up and put him back after when he shows signes again?

    • @CrystalGonzalez
      @CrystalGonzalez  3 года назад +1

      What you could try is letting baby cry for a few minutes if it’s on been less than an hour to see if baby will go back to sleep, if you get baby up then put baby back down that will be really confusing and upsetting for baby. I hope this helped ❤️

    So, I’ve been bouncing baby to sleep since he was 2 months old (he is 7 months old now), and I’m trying to sleep train for naps. You mention in the video that we should try putting him down for each nap, but though he tried, he couldn’t do it after nearly an hour. I picked him up and bounced him to sleep because he was going to miss his window. He needs at least 3 hours of naps or else I notice his nighttime sleep is difficult. Is my method a good idea?

    • @CrystalGonzalez
      @CrystalGonzalez  3 года назад +2

      Are you currently also sleep training at bedtime? If so picking baby up from nap training will most likely confuse baby. Feel free to PM me on IG for more personal advice 🤗

      I don't think babies get mad.They are crying for a reason.Yes even if they simply need you to pick them up and hold them.Not leave them alone screaming in a dark room,Never ,ever did that with my baby!In my opinion.

    Thank you for the video. Nap training is hard. What did you do if baby only took a half hour nap. Do you keep baby up until the next scheduled nap?

    • @CrystalGonzalez
      @CrystalGonzalez  3 года назад +2

      Yes I normally just wait until the next nap time. If you just stay consistent baby will learn that nap time means sleep. Sometimes my little will still cry for a little bit and he’s almost two. The crying never lasts more than 5 minutes but it just goes to show you that crying at nap or bed time is normal. Creating structure and rules for your child will bring the most security to them so stay strong 🤗

    Babies sleep when they are tired,eat when they are hungry,and absolutely need you for comfort.There is nothing wrong with nursing or your baby falling asleep while finishing their bottle.this window of time is so short.Just love and enjoy your baby.Stop with all of the training.Just my personal opinion.
