A lot of people have been hating Touma to the core for being a generic mc who has phd in talk no jutsu but remember guys Touma is the main reason why Accelerator changed, becoming the character that we all love even Hamazura.
Watch order imo is railgun > railgun s > index > index 2 > railgun t > accelerator > index 3. Though dont take my word for it. I havent finished index 2 and dont want to watch index 3 until i read the ln because index 3 is rushed according to fans
I think, for those who're tired of protagonists who talk to their enemies heartedly in a fight, are people who wished to be saved the same way when they had their time of lowest. That's just my opinion ;).
Damn, i'm not the only one who miss the old soundeffects, good work. However, I think you overdid it With Accelerator's vector change. Even back when he first created plasma in Index 1 and the tornado in Railgun S there were other sounds at play as the vector change sound doesn't fit, and when Accel hits Touma he simply uses the rocks and not his ability.

@@integral772 Accelerator is quite sturdy in terms of durability when in winged form. He tanked a grenade that exploded inches above his head. And in white winged mode, he is multi-continent level in tems of durability.

The sheer amount of worthwhile stuff that was cut to make season 3 happen is depressing. There should've been 2 seasons for WWIII and everything that led up to it. Touma having to go off to deal with WIII would've been a great place to end season 3 and have people excited for a 4th season.

In New Testament they fight for another time in Denmark .touma defeats him by negating his right arm and then uses all his strength to beat him from left hand
Index issue I think is storytelling like they have the best characters but keeps on jumping from one to another and u no longer know WTH is happening. I only stayed and watch till the end of the series because Accel is there.

Accelerator remembers that Touma's power is focused in his right hand and does a few "test shots" with his wings and comes up with ideas for Touma's weaknesses could be. He first tries to "carpet bomb" Touma with his wings, turning them into dozens stakes that slam into the ground to create shockwaves that hurt Touma. Accelerator thinks this kills Touma, but he survives albeit damaged. The next was a land tsunami of rocks and snow. 300 meters wide and 15 meters high. Touma gets pummeled with the rocks, but none of are lethal. Here Accelerator comes up with a theory: Touma has precognition, and its the reason he do things like catch lightning and supersonic+ attacks. Touma lands a punch on Accelerator, And Accelerator attacks with his wings several times and tries to smash Touma with 100 black wings from all angles, but Touma grabs one the wings and twist to throw off accuracy of the other ones and create a safe spot and knocks out Accelerator.
@@varynlied For the land tsunami he blocked that rocks or evaded the rocks that would cause lethal damage and tanked the ones that didn't. He likely did something similar for the carpet bombing wings.

Misaki Phenex nah that’s not it. Touma always say that he’s very weak, but with that he can protect other. It’s true that learning martial art or using weapons will increase his fighting ability, but will also increase the dmg. So he might kill other when just try to protect them. In the end, Touma was able to save a lot of people because of he was weak, he cannot do that if he was stronger

Calling him "the most fearsome opponent", and referring to Touma as one of the people that could kill him if they both went all out. Even the illustrations have Touma looking somewhat monstrous from Accelerator's point of view.

Touma is unique character. That's because before he fight he always tend to seek reasoning or why the villain did the bad things (like when he fight Accelarator he said : "Enough I thought you were forced to do this but it's seems that's not the case") that's why he later help Othinus and many villain like Fiamma ended up being his close ally. He doesn't flailing his arm puncing people around he did this because he CARES for the VILLAIN too and BEING CAREFUL at what action he took And one more thing that is unique that in the LN he feels scared very often but still choses to save regardless eventhough he is very vunarable(one touch other than right hand and he be dead, unless the dragon form took place but it's still far in the series), one of the proof is his arm get chopped of when he yollo agains Misaka dark energy ball in Railgun T.
Lol, I like Touma but the fact you said he's unique is something I can't agree with, Not starting a fight nor a war, In my opinion, Touma is not unique because almost all mc uses the strongest attack in anime "Talk no Jutsu" and it's way too overused making Touma similar to many mc and not considered as unique

@@Poi91 Yeah, I get it. I like anime touma too but I get why he comes off as generic. The reason it's hard to potray touma's thoughts is because he plays the narrator a lot times. Explaining the setting, the atmosphere, the feeling, the mood and everything else. It's just hard to adapt, other than his dialogues which also sadly get cut in order to fit some fan service.

Despite wanting to grow stronger to protect just those few people who accepted him and darkness with open arm, but still not wanting to bring them harm. He's a boy who reaches for light but can never hold it in his hand because he's afraid his darkness may engulf it.

@@grimm3972 In the first fight getting close to Touma would just lead to him getting punched more. That applies to this fight too, except they don't fight like this in canon. Touma also has precognition, so moving faster won't really equal an instant win.

I don’t mind the sfx themselves I just think certain ones work better in certain situations. I think the sfx they actually used for this fight fit better but the original sfx fit well in things like their first fight
I love how people point to plot armor for Touma winning this fight. Accelerator is trying to get consoled by the very guy who can save his situation and killing him would do nothing. Accelerator is much more mature in this scene than his first meet with Touma.

I wish Studio Bones would animate Index instead of My Hero Academia. I’m also kinda upset that JC Staff puts more care into Railgun instead of the series which got the franchise rolling in the first place. So much slept on potential.
Accelerator's anime was also animated pretty well surprisingly. Not extremely good but pretty decent. Better than Index. As for Railgun. It's better than index but in terms of animation not that super amazing. Sometimes here and there some good fluid animation. But I would say it's not even on par with Railgun or Railgun S.

What happened in OT 20. I copy paste it. Accelerator made a simple move. The black wings behind him both swung downwards. Except, that this time his target wasn’t the Level 0 teen that’s running towards him, but towards the empty white land in front of him. The sound of an explosion rang out. With the massive destructive power, large amounts of earth got swept up, and formed into a 15m high and 300m wide tsunami made of earth. The entire vista got covered by it, and it struck as if to swallow the tiny lad. He should be dead with this attack. Even if he was wearing military-use power armor, his body of flesh and blood would be crushed along with the synthetic materials of the body armor. Even so. Pacha!!* The Level 0 charged right into the soaring earth. His body got pummeled by massive amounts of rocks, but none were fatal attacks. “…” Accelerator was shocked at first, but soon figured out his tactics from the situation. His consciousness sank into darkness once more. ♦ When he next came to, Accelerator was inside a vehicle. It was not a civilian car. There was no interior meant for people to ride in or even any windows. Most likely, he was in the back of a truck. The unrefined metal floor and walls raised his caution. He thought that an underground organization from Academy City might have captured him. But he quickly remembered the convoy made up of various vehicles that spiky haired boy had been riding in. Accelerator might be inside one of them. There were no vibrations. The truck was stopped. They may have reached their destination before Accelerator came to. Last Order was lying by his side. The unhealthy sweat that had previously been flowing from her body was gone for some reason. That spiky haired boy’s right hand might have had some sort of effect when he had touched her before Accelerator had lost consciousness. However, he was pretty sure that effect was only temporary. He could use his vector transformation ability to accurately read the disturbances in a human’s brain waves. When he used that power to check Last Order’s body, he could tell the root of the problem had not been fixed. Even if she was stable then, it would eventually return. But the fact that his time limit had been extended remained. Accelerator did not know what to make of the situation. He felt the pieces of parchment next to him. He found a small memo left next to Last Order’s small body. Given the timing, it was most likely from that spiky haired boy. He grabbed the scrap of paper and it said: Index Librorum Prohibitorum. Just before Accelerator had left Academy city, Aiwass had told him to remember that term. There could be a connection. The boy’s memo might have been pointing toward the key to saving Last Order. Suddenly, the back door of the stopped truck was opened from the outside. Light flowed inside. The large blond-haired blue-eyed man who had opened the door spoke to Accelerator. “Welcome to the Elizalina Alliance of Independent Nations. I don’t know how much we can do, but how about we work together to come up with a way to heal that girl?” Accelerator did not respond. He merely squeezed the memo in his hands and hung his head in front of Last Order. He almost looked like a white angel lifting up a prayer.

É claro que ela não chega a ter uma capacidade de raciocínio tão grande como o Accelerator, mas ela tem apenas 12 anos, ou seja, é um feito surpreendente . Shokuhou Misaki que manipula o cérebro usando o fluido que atua como um catalisador para que a eletricidade flua . Eventualmente ela sabe tudo sobre o cérebro humano, isso é algo que eu acho que o Accelerator não sabe . Ele pode até saber como o cérebro funciona mas eu duvido que ele saiba passo a passo, lugar por lugar, célula por célula visto que nunca foi lhe ensinado isso, pois seu poder não consiste em manipular o cérebro, diferente de Shokuhou . Então na primeira luta, quando Touma socou ele, a novel disse que o Accelerator sentiu uma dor como se estivesse queimando, então foi nessa hora que ele perdeu a cabeça . O que é justificavel, pois esse cenário era totalmente novo para ele . O Accelerator pode ser inteligente, mas ele ainda é um adolescente incapaz de diferenciar o certo do errado, ele foi usado desde criança em esperiementos, treinado por um Kihara etc . Ou seja, ele não estava em sã conciência de parar, pensar e calcular pois sentiu o medo pela primeira vez. Touma tbm não daria essa brecha para ele né . Já essa 2° luta, ela foi completamente modificada no anime . Accelerator aprendeu com os erros e Touma usou sua inteligência e experiência para vencer, ele não correu para cima do Accelerator sem pensar dando discurso no Jutsu como o anime mostra.

Damn, i'm not the only one who miss the old soundeffects, good work. However, I think you overdid it With Accelerator's vector change. Even back when he first created plasma in Index 1 and the tornado in Railgun S there were other sounds at play as the vector change sound doesn't fit, and when Accel hits Touma he simply uses the rocks and not his ability.

Accelerator remembers that Touma's power is focused in his right hand and does a few "test shots" with his wings and comes up with ideas for Touma's weaknesses could be.
He first tries to "carpet bomb" Touma with his wings, turning them into dozens stakes that slam into the ground to create shockwaves that hurt Touma. Accelerator thinks this kills Touma, but he survives albeit damaged.
The next was a land tsunami of rocks and snow. 300 meters wide and 15 meters high. Touma gets pummeled with the rocks, but none of are lethal.
Here Accelerator comes up with a theory: Touma has precognition, and its the reason he do things like catch lightning and supersonic+ attacks.
Touma lands a punch on Accelerator, And Accelerator attacks with his wings several times and tries to smash Touma with 100 black wings from all angles, but Touma grabs one the wings and twist to throw off accuracy of the other ones and create a safe spot and knocks out Accelerator.

He doesn't flailing his arm puncing people around he did this because he CARES for the VILLAIN too and BEING CAREFUL at what action he took
And one more thing that is unique that in the LN he feels scared very often but still choses to save regardless eventhough he is very vunarable(one touch other than right hand and he be dead, unless the dragon form took place but it's still far in the series), one of the proof is his arm get chopped of when he yollo agains Misaka dark energy ball in Railgun T.

Explaining the setting, the atmosphere, the feeling, the mood and everything else. It's just hard to adapt, other than his dialogues which also sadly get cut in order to fit some fan service.

Accelerator's anime was also animated pretty well surprisingly. Not extremely good but pretty decent. Better than Index.
As for Railgun. It's better than index but in terms of animation not that super amazing. Sometimes here and there some good fluid animation. But I would say it's not even on par with Railgun or Railgun S.
The only reason it's too shit is because they had to adapt something from the books, while Railgun already has a manga at the time.

windows. Most likely, he was in the back of a truck. The unrefined metal floor and walls
raised his caution. He thought that an underground organization from Academy City
might have captured him.
But he quickly remembered the convoy made up of various vehicles that spiky haired
boy had been riding in. Accelerator might be inside one of them.
There were no vibrations.
The truck was stopped. They may have reached their destination before Accelerator
came to.
Last Order was lying by his side.
The unhealthy sweat that had previously been flowing from her body was gone for some
reason. That spiky haired boy’s right hand might have had some sort of effect when he
had touched her before Accelerator had lost consciousness.
However, he was pretty sure that effect was only temporary.
He could use his vector transformation ability to accurately read the disturbances in a
human’s brain waves. When he used that power to check Last Order’s body, he could tell
the root of the problem had not been fixed.
Even if she was stable then, it would eventually return.
But the fact that his time limit had been extended remained.
Accelerator did not know what to make of the situation. He felt the pieces of parchment
next to him. He found a small memo left next to Last Order’s small body.
Given the timing, it was most likely from that spiky haired boy.
He grabbed the scrap of paper and it said: Index Librorum Prohibitorum.
Just before Accelerator had left Academy city, Aiwass had told him to remember that
term.
There could be a connection.
The boy’s memo might have been pointing toward the key to saving Last Order.
Suddenly, the back door of the stopped truck was opened from the outside. Light flowed
inside. The large blond-haired blue-eyed man who had opened the door spoke to
Accelerator.
“Welcome to the Elizalina Alliance of Independent Nations. I don’t know how much we
can do, but how about we work together to come up with a way to heal that girl?”
Accelerator did not respond.
He merely squeezed the memo in his hands and hung his head in front of Last Order.
He almost looked like a white angel lifting up a prayer.

Vc viu a primeira luta deles ? Lá tbm não tinha árvores mas tinha vários containers e o Accelerator realmente jogou containers em Touma mas ele desviou de todos eles . E isso nem é protagonismo pois é citado desde o volume 1 da Novel, ou seja, muito antes do Accelerator ser introduzido na série e tem uma explicação plauxível de como ele adquiriu essa habilidade . Apenas culpe o anime que cortou isso .

Bem, o poder Esper não funciona assim . Para resumir, a Fonte de Energia dos Esper é a sua própria mente, algo que eles forçam a acreditar e em algum momento se torna real . Chamamos isso de campo AIM que seria a realidade Pessoal de um Esper que distorce a realidade ao seu redor, ou seja, o poder Esper Gira em torno do próprio Esper e ele só consegue usa-lo através de cálculos. Para o Accelerator manipular um vetor, ele tem que toca-lo, então não tem como ele abrir um buraco no chão onde está o Touma, pois ele estava longe . O que o Accelerator poderia fazer era abrir um buraco em baixo dele mesmo e usar as pedras para joga-las em Touma, mas o mesmo desviaria graças a precoginição .
Raciocínio lógico e inteligência são coisas completamente diferentes . É claro que o Accelerator é inteligente por sabe todo sobre a física e matemática que estuda os vetores/direções e ele calcula tudo antes de usar seus poderes MAS ele não é o único, TODOS os espers são assim . Todos os espers são fluentes em coisas complexas e todos tem uma mente que se iguala a de um supercomputador, não é só o Accelerator . Koroko por exemplo, seu poder é o teletransporte e ela precisa usar a matemática das 11 Dimensões para usa-lo, ou seja, eventualmente ele precisaria calcular vetores tbm . É claro que ela não chega a ter uma capacidade de raciocínio tão grande como o Accelerator, mas ela tem apenas 12 anos, ou seja, é um feito surpreendente . Shokuhou Misaki que manipula o cérebro usando o fluido que atua como um catalisador para que a eletricidade flua . Eventualmente ela sabe tudo sobre o cérebro humano, isso é algo que eu acho que o Accelerator não sabe . Ele pode até saber como o cérebro funciona mas eu duvido que ele saiba passo a passo, lugar por lugar, célula por célula visto que nunca foi lhe ensinado isso, pois seu poder não consiste em manipular o cérebro, diferente de Shokuhou .
Eu até diria que isso tbm se aplica a Touma, pq a Cidade Academia está 30 anos avançada comparada ao resto do mundo, ou seja, mesmo escolas mais "fracas" devem ensinar coisas complexas . No ep 1 Touma foi capaz de descobrir um jeito de salvar Index ouvindo uma explicação por telefone de sua professora sobre a parte do cérebro que armazena as memórias .
No caso do Accelerator, ele nunca tinha sentido dor física na vida e nunca tinha saído nos socos com alguém . Tudo o que lhe foi ensinado era para colocar uma barreira em si, esperar o inimigo atacar e repelir o ataque . Coisa que não funcionava em Touma . Ou seja, em um batalha real, Accelerator não tinha nenhuma experiência, ele não tinha nenhuma idéia do que fazer . É como de fosse Teoria vs Prática aqui .
Então na primeira luta, quando Touma socou ele, a novel disse que o Accelerator sentiu uma dor como se estivesse queimando, então foi nessa hora que ele perdeu a cabeça . O que é justificavel, pois esse cenário era totalmente novo para ele . O Accelerator pode ser inteligente, mas ele ainda é um adolescente incapaz de diferenciar o certo do errado, ele foi usado desde criança em esperiementos, treinado por um Kihara etc . Ou seja, ele não estava em sã conciência de parar, pensar e calcular pois sentiu o medo pela primeira vez. Touma tbm não daria essa brecha para ele né .
Já essa 2° luta, ela foi completamente modificada no anime . Accelerator aprendeu com os erros e Touma usou sua inteligência e experiência para vencer, ele não correu para cima do Accelerator sem pensar dando discurso no Jutsu como o anime mostra.
